Absolutely everything was fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly. The breakfast spread was excellent - freshly baked cake every day, croissants, fruit, breads, cheeses, meats, cereals and coffee from a machine. The afternoon apperitivos are very reasonably priced with good snacks. The room was very clean and smelled great. I was in a small double room facing the railway which could be very loud but closing the window blocked out all of the noise. Great location - walking distance to both the Lavagna and Chiavari train stations, the ocean right outside and lots of restaurants nearby. Safe location for a solo female. Highly recommend staying here.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. We loved the authentic charm, the splendid location, and most of all the excellent and heart warming service of the staff. The people of the front desk took care of our flat tire, releasing us of all our worries. Francesco, the maître d’hôtel, and his team served us breakfast and dinner with the excellence of a three star restaurant, sprinkled with lots of Italian charm and playfulness. The dinners at the Vistamare restaurant are exceptionally delicious - the chef has golden fingers!

What’s not to like? 1. Staff: friendly, attentive, gentile, with a human touch, willing to help. They are all very nice people. 2. Location: close to Sestri Levante and other small places near the sea, to explore 3. Rooms: comfortable, spacious, clean, well equipped. 4. Breakfast: delicious! Complete and great variety. The hotel staff were welcoming and charming to us. The breakfast buffet , which extended down both sides of the long dining room,was the best we've had in Italy, the choice was enormous, from traditional cakes and pastries to many choices of muesli, nuts, dried fruit, eggs and cheeses. Even bottles of Activa macrobiotic drink ! After breakfast we went for a walk under the colonnades of nearby historic Chiavari, which was very atmospheric on a rainy day. All in all we had a lovely stopover here.

    Very authentic feeling, cosy and enjoyable stay, we loved it, The self check-in is very flexible and the communication with the host excellent.. Although is a little far from the main sights in Liguria, I really recommend it. A very good experience with great value for money.

    Historic, authentic place in this small village made our stay very interesting, unforgettable! Lorenzo is a great host! I loved everything start with his wine he offers for free, breakfast and stories, he will also give you good tips and travel recommendations!
