This was just an overnight trip.
This was just an overnight trip. Norcia is still recovering from the earthquake. There is a lot of building/fixing going on in the old city center. To balance that, the people were truly gracious! The city is not really interesting but located in the Monte...
The city is not really interesting but located in the Monte Sibillini National Park. The whole area was also terribly affected by the 2016 earthquake and just starting the reconstruction. Norcia is also known for good food (truffle, sausages, ricotta)Guest review byGillesBelgium

We were even able to rent bicycles for a very reasonable price and Walter picked us up from the trail when we became tired. But what really stands out in this place is its location - a tiny, quiet village surrounded by green hills.
