Everything was excellent; warm and friendly hosts and staff who really try their hardest to accommodate all wishes of the guests. The hotel itself has a rich history, is beautifully decorated and kept extremely clean; the breakfast was amazing and varied every day. We also greatly appreciated the fact that all products in the hotel are natural/organic and sourced locally. Overall an unforgettable experience and we will definitely come back!

Absolutely beautiful view from the very spacious balcony. Bed was very comfortable and rooms were clean. Just a few minutes walk to the main pedestrian thoroughfare and gondolas. Loved the traditional Alpine decor and wood carvings throughout.

The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was exceptional. Guest menu for dinner was good value and since we struggled to find somewhere else that was open we ate dinner at the hotel both nights and were happy we did. We loved the indoor and outdoor pools. A lovely surprise was the hotel provided Lukas the walking guide for the day and we had an awesome day with him. Room was large and bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

    Because of the two gondolas accessible in town, we were able to explore both sides and experience a variety of terrain, none extremely challenging which worked for our various fitness levels. The views are stupendous and the convenience of the huts along the trails for lunch, a drink or even a break from the rain were fantastic. We didn't need to worry about packing snacks or lunches, and instead enjoyed reasonably priced, delicious meals along our hikes.

    A lovely town in the valley with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants but also gave easy access up into the mountains via cable car/funicular. Also easy to get the bus to St Christina and Selva for other cables cars and walks. The Val Gardena mountains are simply stunning with plenty of great walking accessible from Ortesei

    There is something for everyone in Ortesei and it is a special family destination as well. We loved the summer climate, the cool crisp air, and the beauty of the amazing Dolomites. The restaurants were great, there was ample shopping, and the locals were warm, friendly and helpful. We did not have a car, but did not need one with the free bus system that was very efficient. The gondolas, funicular annd chair lifts took us to some great spots for hiking and the ambience in the Refugios was great!

    Delightful small town with lots of ways to access hiking...

    Delightful small town with lots of ways to access hiking trails / ski areas. Maybe a little less convenient to mountain bikers, but superb for everyone else. St Christina and 1-2 villages upstream may be better suited to serious bikers. Ortisei is a great gateway to the spectacular Dolomite recreational areas.

    I say better than Cortina d’ Ampezzo as a base for hiking. More trailheads closeby. The town itself is more lively and the restaurant options are many. The public transport is also more efficient even if it was still off season.

    Ortisei is the perfect base spot for hiking in the Dolomites! So many options for hikes, 2 gondolas within walking distance for amazing views and a picturesque village for dining, shopping. The hike at Alpe di Suisse (alpine meadow) was amazing. We also visited Lago di Braies which was a beautiful 2 hour walk around the most gorgeous lake. We loved the Cafe Adler and Cafe Stetteneck for coffee and pastries in the morning. Turonda for dinner. The downtown shops are cute for gifts or essentials. We used the supermarket in downtown for meal ingredients a couple of nights and it was perfect!

    We loved our stay at the Garni Mirabel from the beginning. The room was spacious and cozy, clean and jad all the utilities we needed. Breakfast was rich and lovely. The parking and location on the roads of Ortisei and St.Christina is perfect for going to hikes. The best is the staff, this friendly family run hotel had the loveliest staff, were kind and helpful all around.

    We felt the most welcoming at this hotel during our two-week stay in Italy. The staff was really helpful and they answered all the questions we had. The hotel is very close to Ortisei town centre and the cable car for Alpe di Siusi. Free parking was available on-site as well.

    Very helpful and accommodating stuff at a hotel. Clean and nice room with a balcony and a view towards Ortisei. Good to have a shuttle bus when too tired to walk those short minutes back up to the hotel, one can get tired after all the nice trails nearby. Beautiful area.

    This is a hotel I would 100% book again. My husband and I came here as part of our honeymoon in Italy and the staff were so warm and welcoming and gave us tips and maps to help us further plan our trip in this beautiful place. I hope I can visit again one day.
