Although we stayed just one night at Casale San Pietro, the experience was truly memorable. This beautifully decorated casale radiates charm and comfort, with a serene atmosphere that welcomed us the moment we arrived. Our accommodation was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed — the perfect place to unwind. We slept like babies in the incredibly comfortable bed, and waking up to the sound of birds singing was a rare and peaceful treat. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared and full of fresh, local flavors. It was the perfect final touch to our short stay.

Lovely little apartment in the middle of Palmanova. Very well equipped and well looked after. At top floor, so glad there was a lift available, especially to carry our stuff and the children. Host was very accommodating with checknin time and has also provided us with a cot and a parking space. Would highly recommend this place. Amazing location with it being close to a supermarket and the square.

Our experience at this apartment was absolutely fantastic! A great immersion in a rinascimento fortress, the state of...

A great immersion in a rinascimento fortress, the state of preservation is astonishing. It's the "only" thing to see, but a walk around the fortress can last a solid couple of hours, and you can walk back and forth the different defensive structure to try to understand their specific role in the city defense! I recommend a stay at the Hotel Ai Doggi, as per eating Al Gambero was a super friendly place!

Interesting city with special zoning.

Interesting city with special zoning. The city is an old military area and the map is like a star. We were pleased when we decided to come here. We stayed only one night together with the Finnish travel blogger Finintirol but like it a lot. The place was quiet, beautiful and a little different.

It's a town with an important military history and is built...

It's a town with an important military history and is built in a star-shaped shape, very convenient for its proximity to the highway exit. It's close to Grado, with its beautiful beach, and Aquileia, famous for its Roman ruins.

Pretty little town, huge main square with nice restaurants. Very pleasant if it's a convenient stopover, but not worth making a special trip to; it can be explored in about 2 hours (including a walk along the wall from Porta Cividale to Porta Aquillea).

Deservedly part of the World Heritage Site! Wonderful historical surroundings, extraordinary architecture, top-class gastronomy and friendly, attentive service everywhere, not only in the restaurants and hotels, but also in the smallest to the largest shops and museums, everywhere.
