This is a beautiful quiet hotel with gorgeous garden and pool area - there’s a lovely rocky bay with bars and restaurants 10 mins walk down the hill too. All the staff were lovely and helpful and chef Angela went out of her way to accommodate me being vegan and gluten free (not always easy to do!). The delicious vegetables came fresh from the garden and were perfectly cooked. We really enjoyed an hour in the private jacuzzi too - would really recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay. Alessandro, the host, and his colleagues, the staff, are extremely friendly and helpful. Alessandro proved to be highly knowledgeable and efficient in running Ruri Pulcra and offering exquisite services but also on suggesting highest quality places - beaches, restaurants, boat trips. The restaurant at Ruri Pulcra is magnificent. The beef they cook, Tagliata di Scottona and the Filetto ai Ferri (veal, actually) is really, from our perspective, outstanding. The fish and the seafood, Crudi di Mare are equally marvelous. The menu is not long (which, in our view, is a very good thing) but the plates are generous and prices are very decent (quite similar to the other restaurants in the area). Also, the wines they serve are really a pleasure and the house wine choices are very, very good (for us they were a novelty, as Alessandro made us discover rosato - rose - of Negroamaro and of Malvasia). It was our first time in Puglia and within this context it proved to be an excellent experience. We very much loved Santa Maria di Leuca, Ostranto and Lecce.

Absolutely fantastic place, highly recommended. Located in a small village Marina di San Gregorio offers quiet surroundings, see view from the terrace, fully equipped kitchen etc. You will everything you need, including a washing machine, grill and ironing board. A lot of cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, coffee machine etc makes you feel like at home. Front terrace, back terrace (including an additional shower) and top terrace. Everything is very clean and tidy and gives you a lot of comfort. Couple of beaches in a walking distance, couple of restaurants, bars and a really nice grocery shop. Sara and Michele (the owners) are extremely nice people with "no problem attitude" if you need anything. I could go back there even today. Thanks a lot for everything and I hope we see you again very soon !

The house is big, with many rooms and beds, and a shower outside! From the terrasse, you can see the beach. The AC is efficient. It is at 2min from a rocky beach, and you have restaurants and bar next to it. With a car, it is 10-15min away from really nice sandy beaches. The hosts are very nice, very reactive and helpful. They give a lot of tips for nice restaurants and visits to do around.

A small town off the beaten path with a charming, well-maintained old town. The La Rua de li Travaj restaurant is excellent. We've been twice and wanted to return again. The food is incredibly fresh, made with local ingredients and is unique.

Fantastic hotel. Brand new. Great restaurant with great breakfast. Very nice pool with bar. Next beach just 4 minutes away by car. Very quiet (which for some people might be a disadvantge though) and except for going swimming to the beach or visiting the caves by boat not much to do in the sorrounding area.
