We loved EVERYTHING! Location is perfect, views from the rooms are cute with one bedroom offering a view of the lake and the other more of the lake and roof tops and terraces of a hilly Italian town. Communication was excellent with the host. Welcome gift, bottled water and toiletries are a wonderful touch. Towels were so soft and fluffy. Beds were comfy. It is surprising for a small space how sound didn't travel from room to room. Air conditioning and fan was a god send. Coffee on the patio table outside in the morning was lovely and watching our older kids sitting on the steps looking down into the village and just talking was quite magical. The apartment is tastefully decorated, well furnished and equipped and super clean. We couldn't have asked for more and had we not had somewhere else to travel to, we could have stayed here for a week at least!

Absolutely charming place in a set of medieval stone houses that were carefully restored by a Flemish architect, whose wife runs the hotel. Great breakfast, some nice restaurants in town ... Do stop there if you are in the area!. We took a 2 day break on the Via Francesco from Rome to Assisi there and it was a great choice!

We first came to Piediluco in the Spring of 2024 whilst...

We first came to Piediluco in the Spring of 2024 whilst visiting family. It was out of season and later in the afternoon so it was peaceful and calm. We had a lovely walk around the town and along parts of the lake, We hadn't had any lunch and were looking for somewhere that might serve something but everywhere had closed. Gianluca at Tre7 took pity on us and treated us to a private luncheon on his terrace overlooking the lake. It was a sublimely PERFECT afternoon and we promised to came back and visit him again. We booked an overnight stay at Casa Mariam on Booking.com which was nothing short of excellent for location, price and facilities for this visit to Piediluco. Unfortunately Tre7 was closed due to illness so we went for a wander to see if there was anything that might catch our fancy in town. We had a wonderful dinner at La Magia del Lago. Picture perfect location, overlooking the lake on a balcony/terrace. We were inside the restaurant but there were a few diners sat under the trees closer to the lake. Quite romantic really. The food was utterly delicious and it had a great family atmosphere. We didn't get to explore all of the town and the little side streets but I can imagine that they are quaint.

I had a great time in Piediluco, it's a beautiful town. We had dinner at the magic of Piediluco lake, a very beautiful and welcoming place, the staff was very kind and helpful. For lunch we ate at the Eco restaurant, also in Piediluco, which was fantastic.

One of the most charming lakeside towns, both for its historic center and the unique characteristics of the lake. The surrounding area is also beautiful, rich in history (don't miss the Franciscan monastery of Greccio) and natural beauty (the Marmore Falls are just a few kilometers away).

The landscape is very green and well-maintained, typical of Umbria. The lakeside walk from one end of the town to the other is pleasant and invigorating, as are the nearby paths along the Velino River. It's ideal for lake sports, especially rowing. Don't miss the excursion to the impressive and evocative Marmore Falls, easily reached after a few kilometers.

Beautiful place.

Beautiful place. If you're looking for tranquility, you'll find it here. If you're looking for a bit of liveliness, Terni and other nearby towns are a 20-minute drive away. We dined at Trattoria Teresa, just before Piediluco, coming from Terni. The grilled lamb was excellent, and the dishes chosen by other diners were equally as delicious.

The hotel is designed so that all rooms overlook the lake, and this often makes the difference. The hotel is spacious and offers beautiful views of the lake from every angle. Furthermore, there's a family atmosphere. You can smell the scents wafting through the air, making your stay pleasant.

We had a very pleasant stay overall. A special mention goes to Veronica in the breakfast restaurant — she was exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and a real credit to the hotel. Reception staff were also very friendly and efficient, both at check-in and check-out. The lake views are truly stunning, particularly from the restaurant, and were a highlight of our visit.
