One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and the staff is even better. I could not have treated better. Also, the breakfast spread was spectacular: more variety than you can imagine and all of it delicious.

A very warm and kind couple runs this place atop a quaint and lovely town. Breakfast and dinner are both delicious. Beautiful views and clean comfortable rooms. We needed to check out early one morning and the boss was very kind to prepare us with coffee and some breakfast before the usual time.

Very close to the ski-station. Great breakfasts and wonderful dinners! The hotel is very interesting, a real museum. The pool on the roof is great. The views on the slopes are wonderful. The owners created every unique detail of the interior. They are extremely nice and attentive to the needs of customers. Around the Hotel there are beautiful mountains and lots of nature. In the mountains there are not only slopes for skiers, but also the routes for hiking. The town is 5 minutes on foot. The meeting point for the kids ski school is 5-7 minutes away on foot, which is very convenient. The gondolas to the mountains are also very close, 5 minutes. We spent a wonderful week, rested very well, did a lot of skiing and relaxed.

The staff is absolutely amazing, all the roles are equally involved in a pleasant journey for all kind of customers: old "aficionados" people coming back every year, families, couples, solo travelers, youth etc. Everyone agreed the location is unbelievable as far is the view, directly on the San Vigilio slopes. Facilities are pretty good too, starting from the SPA to the ski room. Problem solving is the main key success factor of the property longevity: you need X, they solve X...and you suddenly realize that it's been only 10 minutes since your request :)

Everything was great, from the location, cleanliness and staff. The spa is exceptional, there are no crowds and everything is at a high level, yet very intimate and special because the hotel does not have a large capacity and there are no large crowds at the pool and in the whirlpool. We especially liked the approach of the owners of the hotel, Mrs. Barbara and Mr. Roman, who did their best to host us. Also, the food in the hotel is excellent for both breakfast and dinner, especially the course dinner, which impressed us greatly. We will definitely return to this hotel next ski season.

    We quite liked the village - it felt nicer than most other villages in the surrounding area. This is because it is a bit bigger than most and has more traditional town layout (instead of being village lined out next to the main street). Architecture is mostly traditional, which gives it the right alpine village vibe. There is a good choice for places to eat and a decent SPAR store. Ski lift is nearby. It seems that every other house is a hotel or a guest house, so finding the right accommodation should be fairly easy.

    Beautiful South Tyrol resort offering everything you need...

    Beautiful South Tyrol resort offering everything you need for any mountain activities you can imagine or just pure relaxation. With mix of old buildings and modern ski infrastructure this place offers true alpine ambient. On top of surroundings I really enjoyed local cuisine that is simple but based on natural local ingredients exceptionally good in every restaurant we had a chance to visit. My favorites were "Chi Cianeis" for lunch and "Plazores" for dinner.

    St. Vigil itself is nothing too special: It's a quaint little village, with one or two semi-decent restaurants. You will eat far better in Brixen. But it's the breathtaking environment that makes up for it!

    The town of San Vigilio di Marebbe is not large, but it has...

    The town of San Vigilio di Marebbe is not large, but it has everything we need for a relaxing holiday. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants, as well as bars and souvenir shops. A definite plus is the gas station right at the entrance to the town. As always in Italy, you need to pay attention to traffic signs and speed cameras. The town has a charming atmosphere with beautiful views.

    If you are looking for tidy, small, quiet and peaceful town...

    If you are looking for tidy, small, quiet and peaceful town with very good connection to Kronplatz ski area, and you prefer Austrian to Italian lifestyle, cuisine and general vibes - this is the perfect place! For more vibrant, fancy or party-active holiday, perhaps look elsewhere in Italy :)

    San Vigilio di Marebbe is a good starting point for Kronplatz. You can go up and find good places where it not necessary to go down after whole day using black slopes. There are also a good restaurants there. Enjoy!

    Very good hotel on perfect location, cozy room with great arrangement, infrared sauna in the room is big plus after long skiing day, large bathroom and walk in shower.     We had a lovely stay at Al Plan Hotel, Breakfast was delicious, the view is spectacular and the hotel has a super relaxed atmosphere with very accommodating friendly hosts. I will be back again for sure. Me and my family loved it. Excellent location in a lovely town. Room was very comfortable and a good size.

    Very good location for skiers and also very close to shops and caffès. The swimming pool is smaller than the pictures suggests, but the whole wellness area was really nice. We also loved the architecture of the hotel and we will likely come back.
