We liked everything since we arrived. The property has very nice terrace with beautiful views. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with snacks, bottle of wine, water, coffee... The same in the bathroom. The host Cinzia and Roberto are very nice and polite people, cleaned the apartment every day. Big plus for us was parking place. It is a perfect location in Corniglia.

I stayed at Casa Faggiona. Calm place in the countryside, ideal for relaxation. Clean house i.e., living room, bedroom and bathroom. Good size of rooms and comfortable beds. All facilities present in the house e.g. Wi-Fi, TV, Dishes, Cups, Liquid Soap, Towels etc... Helpful owner left clear instructions in the house and was prompt in coming when we contacted her. Finally it has met our expectations and certainly good value for money.

Pignone is a very peaceful place with friendly people who meet in the pizzeria, bar, or grocery store. If you speak a little Italian, you can easily strike up a conversation with the locals.

A little jewel box!

A little jewel box! A secluded little village in the Cinque Terre region, with old houses, a small bridge, and flowers. It is very quiet, a perfect choice if that is what you are looking for. Its narrow streets have an unforgettable atmosphere. I could have lost myself there. The local restaurant/pizzeria is also not to be missed. The people were friendly and helpful.

We stumbled upon it by chance while returning from a vacation abroad, and stayed at a farmhouse with an attached restaurant. The village is small but charming. There's a pizzeria and a grocery store that also serves platters on the terrace. The first village of the Cinque Terre is 13 km away. Summer temperatures are moderate.

Unfortunately, I can't comment on the town of Pignone, as we chose it simply as a base for visiting the Cinque Terre. It seemed like a reasonable distance away and a good value, especially compared to the higher prices in the coastal towns.

A very nice restaurant next to the B&B in Pignone.

A very nice restaurant next to the B&B in Pignone. The village is a stopover on the way to the Levanto train station parking lot (15 km). A 2 or 3-day pass allows you to visit the 5 villages by train from this large town. There is no parking available for those wishing to reach the 5 villages by car.

We liked the location, right in the medevial centre of Pignone. The house itself was fascinating, very old but with a modern twist. Room and bathroom very comfortable. The kitchen and dining room were also great, considering that the second room wasn't occupied at the time and we had all the place to ourselves. Wendy and Clement were really nice hosts, making us feel very welcome.

Absolutely everything!! The multilingual owner is extremely kind, helpful and thoughtful. The hotel and its situation can’t be bettered nor can having a delicious dinner and buffet breakfast on the outside terrace overlooking the swimming pool, mountains and trees!
