It is an outstanding hotel in a marvellous place with services and facilities well above average. Modern rooms with all the comfort needed and a stunning view over the see and a the beautiful small city (definitively choose a sea-view room), perfectly clean, brekfast with all the choices possible, closed parking with covered places, helpful and kind staff. Walking distance to all the best (rocky) beaches and the sulfuric pool of the Terme. Special mention for the restaurant, one of the best kitchens in all South-Salento on the rooftop, with beatiful sunset views.

I recently stayed at Palazzo Ducale Venturi in Minervino di Lecce, and it was an exceptional experience. The historical charm of the palace is beautifully complemented by modern comforts. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh local produce served in a stunning dining area. The grounds, including the serene courtyard and inviting pool, provided a peaceful retreat. The location is ideal for exploring the picturesque region of Salento, with many hidden gems recommended by the helpful staff.     Poggiardo initially undersells itself.

    Poggiardo initially undersells itself. Walking around the town centre gives a much better flavor, old buildings, churches and nice people. We sampled a few of the restaurants and had good meals at reasonable prices in all. It is a good base to explore the southern Salento region.cities such as Lecce and Gallipoli in east reach by car.

    This hotel is just gem in salento. The staff are super friendly and helpful and make you very welcome. The facilities are very tasteful decorated, spacious and comfortable. The pool is quiet and relax for after beach or visiting beautiful towns around. Close to seaside (10 minutes from castro marina) and all towns around that are beautiful. Ask for tips on restaurants. The staff make this already very nice hotel an unforgettable place to have been. I will try to come back.

    Very nice hotel. Easily reachable. Competent and friendly staff. Francesca is keen to make you discover Puglia from a different perspective than the usual 'sun and sea'. Of course she can give you pieces of advice about sea resorts and other nice places to see... However she makes the difference with information about nature, culture, cycling... Just a wonderful place, with a great breakfast !!

    The location is wonderful, the historic palazzo is beautifully decorated, the rooms are cleaned every day, and even all the belongings are neatly arranged. The breakfasts are quite good, with a wide selection by Italian standards, not just coffee and croissants. The hotel staff is also amazing, very responsive and friendly. We were left with only warm impressions!

    We loved the pool, and the breakfast was really colorful. The hotel is charming, like a little castle. The staff is helpful and kind. Housekeepers are smiling all the time:) and everything is clean. Francesca helped us with everything (receptionist). The room are big, we had enough space.

    Lavinia, in reception! She is a friendly, flawless professional, and made our stay easy from beginning to end. The room was spacious and beautiful, and the hotel is in the centre of town. everything was clean, and it’s a good value too! I can’t recommend it enough!
