We stayed just outside of the town (downhill quite a long way), but the drive through the town looked very interested and it would have been nice to stay there and explore. The location is stunning as the town is perched on a very high rock with views down to the surrounding countryside and mountains. There are several good restaurants to enjoy although we did not use any ourselves. Polizzi is a tiny, quiet town in a gorgeous location. I had a special interest in being there because ancestors came from there and I was doing some research. The town is charming and worth a short visit, but is not a “tourist town.” Restaurants served excellent food. You can access the entire town on foot. Walking involves lots of hills and steps - great exercise! I would not recommend driving in the very narrow streets! There are hikes in the area.Guest review byElizabethUnited States - 8.0
