The view from tje balcony made up for the slight lack of kitchen équipement. No kettle, no toaster and no microwave. Have I mentioned the balcony? Glorious. The owners are delightful too.

Hotel staff were wonderful it's a Family run hotel and little touches like coming out to help bring the suitcases in and the same when we left were very appreciated.The Spa was one oc the nicest I've been to and when you book it you have private access lots of candles had been lit for us and lots if attention to detail.So relaxing. The breakfast was wonderful with a lovely waitress and the choice of indoor or outdoor tables.Parking in a private car park is available and was free. The whole hotel is set on the side of the mountain so has multiple levels and steps. If you have difficult with stairs be sure to book a ground floor apartment. We really enjoyed our stay the walk to the beach is about 10 mins down a path and some steps not too steep and very straightforward.We also appreciated the discounted ferry codes and restaurant and beach access associated with the hotel Available on request.The hotel is 3 star but the service and decor was 5 star. The beach itself is white sand and shallow clear water you have to go out a bit to swim. The whole atmosphere on the beach was very chilled and peaceful and facilities were eccellent there are 2 Private beach access and 2 free beaches. The restaurant on the beach was amazing a huge choice of food from salads to sandwiches to pasta and fritto misto of fish.Also very good prices and well organised there is also a bar for fresh gelato and coffee and cocktails and a edicola and gift shop with the building.This was a big plus as we could walk down from the hotel and relax on the beach all day and everything we needed was there.Would definitely go back and would recommend this hotel and the Fetovaia beach and bar.

It was the second time I stayed in this hotel. I love the location, the staff and the breakfast is quite simple but more than enough. What I love this hotel is the simplicity with summer looks and feeling. Big rooms and nice showers. 2 minutes walk there is a almost hidden beach to go for a quick or longer swim.

I liked the place a lot. The hostess was very friendly and helped me out a lot of times. She was very accessible as well. The fact they have their own restaurant and that you can have a full course menu for 25 euros (!) is amazing. I really enjoyed the food. Every day there are multiple times they have a small van that brings you to the beach, or brings you back from the beach. You get your own parking spot in the shade. Breakfast is very good. The views from the place (and your room) is amazing. Overall an amazing experience!

The staff were so helpful and friendly. I booked the hotel for the half marathon and it couldn’t have been a better location for the event. Right in the centre, close to the beach, the supermarket, restaurants, the bus stop- perfect!

Fantastic hotel right on the sea front with easy access to the glorious clear sea. Great sunbeds set back from the very busy beach area. Breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for the day. Maria and her team in the hotel looked after us exceptional well. The evening meals were very reasonably priced for the great quality of food. The bar/ waiter staff were very accommodating and personal. This place is a little place of Italian magic. Very few tourists at this time of year which was great.

A town with a wonderful location facing Corsica.

A town with a wonderful location facing Corsica. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, it's inconvenient if you want to tour the entire island, but very convenient if you decide to enjoy the stunning cliffs and shipwreck beach until sunset.

A very pretty, quiet town, offering snorkeling (there are many fish and the water is beautiful) and beautiful hiking trails on the granite mountains behind the town. The locals are courteous and friendly, and the place is absolutely quiet, at least in September. There's a minimarket, two bakeries, a few restaurants, and an excellent ice cream shop.

Pomonte is idyllic and not too touristy.

Pomonte is idyllic and not too touristy. A good base for exploring Elba. The beach consists of coarse pebbles and isn't easy to walk on, but you can reach sandy coves in about 15 minutes.

A bit out of the way, but a great base for visiting other places. If you don't feel like traveling too much that day, you can find everything you need on site, including a pebble beach, which is a plus. I was there in late September, though; I don't think July-August is as quiet and crowded. Prices are high everywhere.

Very quiet village. Great for families. You can get between beaches by bus. The beach is gorgeous with pebbles; you can also take several walks in the hills. Mrs. Tina is very kind and helpful.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the larger, more popular towns, yet still 20 minutes from Marina di Campo. It has everything you need: bars, restaurants, ice cream parlor, market, bakeries, pharmacy, and ATM. Close to sandy beaches like Fetovia and Cavoli. Very quiet, peaceful, and livable.
