Exceptional stay in a wonderful 5 star hotel, recently refurbished hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful which made our stay incredible. We came to celebrate a special occasion and we had a nice surprise at arrival, we were upgraded to a suite. Breakfast was amazing. I would love to stay at Pieve Aldina again

Palazzo Leopoldo Dimora Storica & Spa is a beautiful historic hotel located in the charming old town of Radda in Chianti. The hotel is wonderfully designed as a whole, offering excellent services. Perched on a hilltop, it boasts stunning views over the rolling hills of Tuscany. We stayed in the Suite Leopold, which was very spacious and beautifully decorated, featuring plenty of historical details of the building. The suite had comfortable beds and offered excellent value for money. Small dogs are also warmly welcome to stay. The hotel also features a lovely sun terrace with two jacuzzi, which can be reserved for private use for two hours – a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Tuscan sunshine. Guests also have access to a swimming pool located about five kilometres away, as well as to the hotel’s own indoor pool and spa facilities. Breakfast was tasty and varied, with eggs, bacon, cheeses, cold cuts, three types of juice, bread, delicious sweet pastries, jams, fresh fruit, and a tasty avocado spread for bread. The cappuccino was excellent and served to the table. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent and attentive, and the cleanliness was of a high standard. There is also a large free parking area, which is a great advantage. I warmly recommend Palazzo Leopoldo Dimora Storica & Spa to anyone visiting the area!

The living room looks better than the online photo at the time of booking. Lovely views of Tuscany from the windows. The bedding is all new and comfortable. Air-conditioning in all the rooms is good. Plenty of space for the three of us and can easily accommodate more. The host is very responsive and led to a great stay. No fly screens so we left the aircon on at night which was fine. There are 20-30 steps up to the house which is normal around here. Kitchen is well equipped as are the bathrooms.

    Great atmosphere not to big or to small lots of parking and supercharger for ev. Great butchers and wine shops are incredible well stocked with great wine from tuscany but allso from pretty much everywhere else too.

    The staff was helpful, the rooms were clean the breakfast was lovely-fresh blueberry juice and pomegranate juice! This picturesque historic villa has beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside and is a short walk to the center of Radda.

    You must be willing to drive to this location.

    You must be willing to drive to this location. It can be difficult to get into the restaurants (1 open during the day and 2 for dinner). Make reservations in advance to avoid driving into the town of Radda at night. The staff were fantastic and friendly. Fabio was a great guide during the wine tour. The food is fantastic!!

    Radda was such an enchanting little town with the most amazing views of the Tuscan countryside. Great restaurants and lots of wonderful little shops to browse in and close to 300 wineries within a 20 minute drive. The Spa at Vignavecchia was absolutely wonderful and the underground thermal pool at palazzo Leopoldo was divine!

    This a great place in a little town outside of Florence.

    This a great place in a little town outside of Florence. There is a local bar and a cafe just down the block. there is a wonderful balcony that you can people watch. It's a quiet town so very easy to rest.

    In the old town of Radda in Chianti, just inside the ZTL. Plenty of free parking outside that are just a few minutes walk away. Very helpful host. She recommended to us one of the best restaurant in the Chianti area. Excellent view from the Balcony/Terrace Despite being a stone house, wifi reception is good. The house had air-conditioners. My stay was in mid-November, so I use just heat, but the air-con would be very helpful during summer time.

    Everything! Fab hotel close to the centre of Radda with parking. We had a wonderful, ground floor room with a terrace overlooking the Tuscan hillside. The decor was traditional with an unusual but lovely feature, tiled ceiling. The staff were all so friendly & helpful. Really great breakfast selection. We didn’t have dinner there, but it looked lovely. The swimming pool was great too and looked out over the countryside. Definitely would recommend.
