- indoor: tasty design, spacious rooms and well fitted kitchen - outdoor: generous yard with plenty of shadow for sunny days and several chilling, morning coffee or dining spots - host: professional and friendly in the same time. Excellent! - location (micro): there is a grocery, butcher shop, farmacy, weekly market, less than 2 minutes from the house - location (macro): the accomodation is very close to Bologna but if you like to discover there are a lot of things and places to be discovered and visited as the accomodation is positioned ideally for both Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany wanders. This is a rare full 10.

We just wanted to express what a truly amazing time we had at Hotel Crinale in Grizzana! We were so pleasantly surprised by the Disney touches we noticed around the check-in area when we arrived. It was lovely to learn from the owners that you both previously worked for Disney Cruise Line. You've clearly brought that wonderful dedication to customer service to your hotel. We were so impressed by how immaculately clean the hotel was. Our room was the perfect size for the two of us, and the mountain view was absolutely breathtaking. We loved being able to keep the windows open and enjoy the fresh air, accompanied by the delightful chirping of birds each morning – such a welcome change from the city noise! The breakfast was an absolute highlight! It was such a treat to enjoy the freshly baked cakes and biscuits, and even homemade peanut butter, courtesy of the owner's sister. The selection of cereal, toast, fresh local fruit and juice was also fantastic. And to top it off, the owner's delicious hot breakfasts and his wife's amazing espresso coffees were the perfect start to each day. The hotel's central location was also ideal for exploring the region. We easily took the train to Bologna, Florence, and Venice. On our next visit, we definitely plan to stay longer and use Hotel Crinale as our base to explore more of the surrounding area and take advantage of the walking trails you have. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful and memorable stay.

This was more than we expected. Very nice building with a story behind it. Nice spacious room. We had a balcony with a mountain view. Dinner and breakfast were super delicious - italian flavours at their best. Really grateful to the host for such a wonderful experience.

Antico Mulino is an amazing place! An ancient country Milll perfectly restored in a beautiful residence. It was built as a pure gem of engineering in milling, water resources management and self sustainable living at that time (approx 200 years ago). My opinion: we must learn those days from this ancient wisdom! Coming back to the room - we had the fresco one - just exceptional. The bed and linens were fantastic. The furniture - artistic antiquities, that you find there even in the bathroom that is, by the way, totally modern. The nature around the property is genuine, nearby a small village. I've heard for the first time in my life the bucks grunting (we were there beginning of September) just nearby. Our host told us that we can see bucks and deer in the garden. The breakfast was delicious with cookies made by our very gentle host Cinzia, and the gift was a long discussion with her about the region, the history and culture of the region and Italy and also on the history of the property. By the way she speaks an excellent French! I must acknowledge the fact that the host, Cinzia exceed expectations ine many ways, but the outstanding ones her very detailed indications for how to get there better than GPS, where to eat in good and inexpensive restaurants, and above all what to see as a cultural asset.

I am Brazilian, 65 years old and I am traveling alone riding a bicycle from Frankfurt. Based on the location and reviews, I chose this B&B to spend 1 night. What a decision, what a choice. This place is a dream come true. A pleasant, quiet, super organized space with incredible hosts. Spacious rooms, mountain views while listening birds and a generous breakfast.
