Hotel was quaint and in an idyllic location. Simple but perfect for the setting. Wish we could have stayed longer. Couple managing are delightful and extremely welcoming. Husband spoke excellent English which we greatly appreciated.

Love the vibe here! It was a really clean room, the sheets were smelling very good, I had such a comfy sleep! Also the bathroom was so clean. Thanks for the breakfast though, we had everything we needed.

    The house in the woods lives up to its name, it is quite the...

    The house in the woods lives up to its name, it is quite the ways off the beaten path, not too far from Genoa. Overall, a great experience, except I would recommend arriving before dark as the road leading in is quite narrow and winding and the house is a little hard to find (especially with GPS not quite giving us the right spot). Just take the road slow and carefully and you'll have no problems! Otherwise, the description matches. I think staying there for a few days, brining in enough to cook, and just enjoying the peacefulness of the area would be a good way to spend time there.
