My stay (4 evenings) at Anime Salve for the golf nearby (Ducato) has been outstanding. Every evening my hosts (Francesca, Angelo and the kids Fabrizio and Alessandra) prepared me (for a small fee) a true Italian dinner, and it was fantastic. We had pasta dishes, home made pizzas, local specialities like Parma proscuitto.. Of course you can have the option to dine out or cook in the fully catered kitchen. The pellets poêle is great and keeps the studio warm. The studio can also sleep 3 persons. Every day Angelo is making sure your stay is the best possible. You can go there with your eyes closed! When we first arrived we had a small issue with the bathroom but in 5 min, very nice lady (I think Farida) upgraded us to a wonderful bedroom with sauna and jacuzzi. All the personnel were very nice and speak French.

It´s a historical place and the transformation of the Hotel...

It´s a historical place and the transformation of the Hotel from an old Church/Abbey is wonderful done and to recommend. We passed this place on a round travel and could also join an exhibition in the evening. The hotel offers also some exponats of artists i.e. robots made of trash from an Italian Artist. Very eye catching. We arrived in the evening and was wondering where to eat. We walked the main street just a few minutes and found a local pizzeria - it seems it was the most popular take-away pizzeria but also with a small eating place inside. Again: Chapeau on the works done of this very old historical building and the successful transformation towards a modern style hotel.

A small, quiet, and sleepy village without much hustle and bustle. Good restaurants in town at fair prices. We particularly enjoyed eating at Osteria "da Fiore" and Ristorante I Pifferi. We'd gladly return anytime by car. And anyone who loves Prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiano Reggiano, and similar products should definitely visit the region :-)

The accommodation was dirty, lacking basic amenities and accessories such as pots, blankets, colanders, pans, sponges, etc. And the kitchen was devoid of a stove and replaced with a single portable induction hob... A shameful experience.

This is a recently renovated historic residence. The rooms are very spacious and pleasantly furnished. The rooms are spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff. A sweet and savory buffet breakfast is provided. The town is very quiet and convenient for visiting the duchy's castles. Recommended for everyone.

A beautiful old building housing a hotel with breakfast options. Ample parking is available both in front and behind the hotel. The parking lot was full. Next to the hotel is the park and a little further on, the Golf Ducale. There's no bar in the hotel itself. There are some nice places to eat in the hotel. Excellent hotel for a short stay!

A small town, well-served and well-connected by road. The fortress is worth a visit. There are several restaurants of average to excellent quality. The location is convenient for exploring the province of Parma and its attractions by car, all easily accessible.

The hotel is beautiful, we could not believe this is only 3 stars. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was nice. We stayed in the suite, which comprised 2 rooms with double beds, and a shared bathroom. This setup worked well for the 4 us (parents plus 5yo and 8yo). The AC was a godsend given the blistering August heat. All in all, a lovely hotel, we recommend it for families with young kids.

One of the most, if not the most beautiful hotel i have visited. Everything from design, comfort to the personell/ owners was on point. A lovely house on a lovely property with unbelieveable kind and obliging owners, who really care about you. I immediately felt like i was at home!

Super nice hotel at a beautiful location. The room has everything you would expect. The swimming pool, the patio and the garden are amazing! The breakfast was simple but good. The host was very friendly. He even allowed us to stay a bit longer at the pool after checkout.
