Chalet Chez Nous is in a lovely traditional Italian little hamlet really close to the ski lift with a secure convenient warm boot room enroute; the Hotel is just beautiful, so lovingly restored with its 600 year old charm and yet beautiful modern facilities and so clean! Nicoletta is a very special person who gives such a warm welcome and nothing is a problem, giving tips on everywhere to go and dropping guests up the main town every night; Breakfast is lovely (eggs, ham, cereal, cheese etc) and there is a really cosy bar to relax in the evening; this is a small family hotel with a very relaxing homely vibe, just wonderful! Lovely to come back in the evening to a cosy fire and chat with other guests. There is a restaurant across the street and a bar around the corner and lots of restaurants in Sauze Doulx, (the 20 min walk downhill is welcome after pasta or pizza!)

Staff couldn’t have helped more. Breakfast was great with many choices. For the cost I don’t think we could have stayed anywhere better in Sauze. Rooms are well kept, spacious and cleaned daily. Enjoyed the bar too. As a group, we all agreed we would return to the Derby if visiting Sauze.

We stayed as guests at Casa Guigas for one night and we couldn't have asked for more! The food was exquisite, with dishes that truly delighted the palate. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, offering a cozy retreat after a busy day. But what truly made our stay special was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality by our gracious host, making our experience truly memorable. The cozy atmosphere of L Mai provided the perfect backdrop for our family getaway. The rooms were not only tastefully decorated but also spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our entire family. The blend of modern comforts with a touch of traditional Italian charm added a unique character to our stay. What stood out most during our visit was the exceptional service and flexibility extended by our host. A quiet village in the upper Susa Valley.

A quiet village in the upper Susa Valley. The educational walk through the Gran Bosco woods is very interesting, with visits to several cultural sites (the Ecomuseum). A visit to the Savoy fort of Exilles, just a few kilometers away, is also worthwhile.

Very isolated and out of the way place, ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in nature and do not choose the room above the kitchen because then until 11.45pm they will not have the opportunity to sleep or enjoy the silence of nature.

Salbertand is a charming and quaint village. Here, time seems to have stopped somewhere between fairytale and poetry. The few residents are kind and friendly. In the village's only restaurant, simple dishes are shared in a spirit of conviviality and flavor.
