Nice place to stay on a road trip around Basilicata. It is the floor part of a house from the old quarter of Garaguso, set on a narrow street. I had a Fiat Panda and I was able to get right to the building and to park it, but a bigger car should be parked in the central square, 200 m away. The property was clean and it had all the necessary amenities, it looks far better then in the photos, it is a real house, not the standard "set" for appartment rentals. The teracce is indeed impressive, with view to the valley and the country side hills. The owner, Amelia, lives next door and she is very nice and helpfull.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, everything was very clean, and we had a stunning view. The breakfast was Italian-style but definitely sufficient for us. Our host Antonio was extremely friendly and gave us lots of tips and guidance about the places we wanted to visit.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. The town itself is perched on a high hillside with breathtaking views. Easy access to Matera and surrounding areas. The house itself at very clean, and decorated with love, down to every fine detail. The views from the front of the house were spectacular. Breakfast was included and served to us on the balcony.

Great location with a great view. Fireplace with more than enough firewood. Breakfast at the tent. Super welcoming owner. For dinner I'd recommend getting some nice Italian sausage and cheese board as takeaway somewhere and eating at the tent with a bottle of wine!
