Fantastic location for family skiing. Saves you driving to the lifts. Most of the lifts and slopes connect so good choice of runs and making good value of ski pass. This is a lovely town with lots of little shops to potter around. The hot chocolate and cakes in Piccolo Bar amazing! People in general were very friendly. Nice restaurants and Pizzerias. San Martino di Castrozza is a small, very pleasant mountain town. there are 2 large shops - supermarkets with food, many smaller shops with clothes, souvenirs, etc. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars to visit. However, the Coop market is very close (2 minutes walk) and they always have everything that you need for your breakfast. The town of San Martino is really beautiful - both the picturesque houses and the mountains all around.
