Loved the view, cosiness of the apartment, and the silent atmosphere. It was snowing quite a bit, and the panoramic view with the snow was exceptional! Exactly on the day we were leaving, it was sunny and was such a pleasant view to look at the mountain view with their peaks covered with snow! Will definitely return!! Elisabetta was very kind!

Everything was perfect! A very cozy hotel with an incredible atmosphere. The room was stunning - clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. We were pleasantly surprised with the welcome drinks. The staff was exceptionally kind, friendly, and professional. Breakfast was a true highlight: delicious, with lots of variety, and served until 11:00 - perfect for a relaxed morning with a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc.

Amazing, cozy ambiente! If you like to have a ambience with character, a lot of wood, old nostalgia elements, old paintings and pictures and so one...this is the perfect place. Everything looks like from another time in a good sense and the place got a lot of character. We were really amazed about the superb shower and the bathroom (everything made out of wood), the comfortable beds, the spacious room and also the beautiful very cosy social/breakfast room downstairs. There is a free parking space and 24/7 check-in. Beautiful place! 10 of of 10.

Excellent location for staying overnight on a long journey. So easy to find and park, and staff all so very welcoming and joyful in their hosting. Everyone so attentive in a very happy way. And dinner was exceptional. A wonderful menu all perfectly cooked and served. Breakfast too was a delight with local cheeses and home cured meats. We will be back!

We stayed in this hotel twice during our holiday, first two nights and last three, and liked it. The young staff are very friendly and willing to help, at checkout after first stay we asked to have same room for the second stay and they arranged things to accommodate our request. The hotel gives the impression that it could be much more. There is a lot of space, large and clean rooms with simple wooden furniture, two communal areas plus the breakfast room (no restaurant at the moment), a terrace with nice views, and close to the Dora Baltea river so pleasant sound of water flowing. The town of Villeneuve is quiet and ideally located at only ~15 mins drive from Aosta and ~30 mins from Courmayeur / Monte Bianco. We would be happy to stay there again.

Vens is a hamlet at elevation 1700m, in Val d'Aosta, on the Comune St Nicolas. It's high up on the mountain side but easy to find, it is very quiet and in the middle of a stunning nature and scenery. With all the wild mountainous experiences around. We hade the chance to see the "Desarpe", a francoprovençal word to picture the time all the cows are herd down from the alpine pastures to the valley where they spend the cold winter.

Nicolas is a small mountain village and has the advantages...

Nicolas is a small mountain village and has the advantages and disadvantages of a town located at a certain altitude. Besides the beautiful panoramic views, there are several restaurants nearby and two small grocery stores. Several hikes start from here, and in Vetan, not far away, there are two delicious restaurants and a surprise-filled outing (an open-air museum).

Having read several reviews from people who complained, I was a little worried before arriving that I wouldn't have a good time, but instead everything was fine, from the comfortable beds to the excellent terrycloth towels, new and clean. A comfortable hotel and a kind owner.

An excellent starting point for excursions and places of...

An excellent starting point for excursions and places of interest such as Mont Blanc, Courmayeur, La Thuile, Aosta, and various nearby excursions, such as the open-air museum where you can admire curious wooden sculptures. It's also a great place to relax and take a break from the city, with the possibility of enjoying the starry sky in the evening.
