The location is amazing on top of a small hill with a pleasant restaurant. We had a young lady as our host, she was very kind and helpfull. The beds were good, the rooms clean, good breakfast. I would reccomend this place to everyone and will surely come back!

What a kind person is Julia and was very helpful with every thing. The place is big and can hold up to 7 people. The area around is quite and peaceful. I would love to come again for sure. By the way, its better to have some cash for the city fee to give to Julia.

    If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't.

    If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't. The bus systems aren't very reliable and you can't stay too long in the city or else you miss the last bus that leaves early in the night. I had multiple experiences standing and waiting at bus stops in 95-degree heat for busses that were running late and it was miserable. San Pietro in Cariano is a beautiful little town but there isn't much there and not many people speak a language outside of Italian as it is not a tourist spot and such a small town. There are a few restaurants in town, but the language barrier is difficult and often I would just prefer to wait and eat down in Verona as it was easier. The commute by bus into town is about 30-40 minutes and there is no working AC on the bus so you are either standing or sitting in your own sweat for that entire time. I would have rather spent the money and stayed in the city, but the place I stayed in San Pietro in Cariano was lovely and I have no complaints about that, I just chose the wrong location.

    Absolutely everything was perfect. Perfect location of the hotel, perfect room, perfect terrace. Breakfast deserves special attention - it was excellent. One of the best we have seen on our travels. I would like to tell special thanks to the owners of the hotel, Massimo and Laura. Thanks to their work you feel like at home in the hotel. It was a happiness to meet such intelligent and educated people in our life. We will definitely return, even if we are not on the way, because places like this hotel, you want to return. Thanks a lot.

    We had a wonderful stay at Domus Cariana! The place was spotless and beautifully kept, with lovely seating areas around the hotel. We were lucky to experience stunning sunrises and sunsets, which made our stay truly magical. Giovanni was the perfect host – always helpful and kind, assisting us with bookings for wine tours and restaurants. For us cycling around the wine region, Domus Cariana was the ideal base. Highly recommended, and we hope to return!
