The location is absolutely superb for a stay in the Valpolicella area. It offers the perfect combination of just staying in and enjoying the area and the local village, or for visiting the surroundings even Lake Garda or Verona. Giovanni and his Team made us feel like home, with the really good breakfast, a full fridge with snacks and drinks and their sunny attitude. We can really recommend spending time at this beautiful house and hopefully have the chance to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Dimora Buglioni. The location is beautiful, right in the middle of the vineyards, and the whole place feels calm and welcoming. The staff were really friendly and genuinely made us feel at home. We ended up extending our stay for an extra night because we didn’t want to leave. It’s a great base to explore Verona and Valpolicella if you're traveling by car.

The villa's garden was beautiful and very-well groomed. The villa also enjoys beautiful views all around. The room was big & spacious, clean with comfortable bed & nice linen. Breakfast offered a very nice variety of food selection, coffee was excellent and Paola took care of every wish we had. My spouse eats gluten-free food and he had a great variety of options to choose from. We had a wonderful time at Villa Archi and highly recommend it! We will definitely come back.

    If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't.

    If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't. The bus systems aren't very reliable and you can't stay too long in the city or else you miss the last bus that leaves early in the night. I had multiple experiences standing and waiting at bus stops in 95-degree heat for busses that were running late and it was miserable. San Pietro in Cariano is a beautiful little town but there isn't much there and not many people speak a language outside of Italian as it is not a tourist spot and such a small town. There are a few restaurants in town, but the language barrier is difficult and often I would just prefer to wait and eat down in Verona as it was easier. The commute by bus into town is about 30-40 minutes and there is no working AC on the bus so you are either standing or sitting in your own sweat for that entire time. I would have rather spent the money and stayed in the city, but the place I stayed in San Pietro in Cariano was lovely and I have no complaints about that, I just chose the wrong location.

    A family of four plus a dog, we spent a couple of days at Villa Giona. This is an exceptionally stylish hotel with a laid back flair and a great staff. The breakfast was excellent, the pool too - and the rooms really big and comfortable with an aircon and even a jacuzzi. If you get a chance to spend time at Villa Giona, I highly recommend it: it's worth every penny.

    Amazing experience: very comfortable hotel among wine yards. Helpful hosts. It’s brilliant idea with wine, tea and water - you can take any time you want all necessary on the shared big cosy kitchen. We offered tasting menu with 5 wines - our strong recommendation, it was like an art and fantastic delicious.
