We loved this Hotel. Niccolo ( I hope I spelled his name correctly) went all out to help us get around Montepulciano and its surroundings. He gave us so much information on what to do and where to eat. He was very friendly, and helpful. Overall the entire staff was awesome. Breakfast was to our taste, one of the best ones we had during our entire trip. And the attention by Niccolo and his brother Mateo was great. Truth be told, we slept great. Not sure if it was the Hot Springs we visited, but the rooms and beds were very comfortable. There were no rooms for 4 (to include my children) so we had to book 2 rooms, but prices were very reasonable and they were able to accommodate us side by side. The location is a bit out of Montepulciano, but since we rented a car, we had no issues. Grazie Niccolo!! We will definitely come back one day!

A GEM of a find. Stylishly simple and easygoing country style. Though only BB, it was close to many restaurants. The breakfast was perfectly healthy and beautifully presented. The pool was perfect for a dip at the end of the day! Had a super time and will surely revisit if back in Italy.

Despite all the positive reviews on the website, it was disappointing. The room didn't match the photos at all—very small. It did have a large balcony, which was nice. The bathroom was small, definitely not suitable for people. There was also mold on the ceiling and shower tray. Breakfast was fine, and the staff was friendly.

The room was large, well-kept and clean with a very comfortable mattress and pillows, a beautiful terrace overlooking the pool. Surrounded by greenery, a convenient location to reach all the places and villages of the Val d'Orcia, everything was perfect, I recommend it.

Beautiful villa with clean rooms and comfortable beds. We dined in the restaurant that evening; a delicious four-course meal with excellent wine from their own vineyard. The biggest surprise was breakfast. Everything was fresh, from homemade cakes and granola to coffee and freshly baked eggs—it's truly amazing. What a fantastic hotel!

Sant'Albino is an excellent, quiet location for exploring the Val d'Orcia. Montepulciano is just a short drive away, and you can then continue exploring the other towns. In Sant'Albino, don't miss a wine tasting at Podere della Bruciata.

Definitely hire a car if possible. We opted to use public transport and although the bus station is situated directly outside the accomodation, buses only run on the hour and you are limited to the places that the buses take you which is a shame in Tuscany. The hotel breakfast is lovely and the staff are friendly. The pool is clean and has day beds. There is a lovely restaurant down the driveway which I recommend not to miss!

Villa Ambra is located about 10 minutes from Montepulciano, in a very quiet area. The loudest were the doves which woke us up every morning. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, and at breakfast we had a wide variety to choose from. Also the food in the restaurant in the hotel and the restaurant next door is really recommendable.
