Scafati is Pompei's less touristy, slightly dirtier cousin.
Scafati is Pompei's less touristy, slightly dirtier cousin. The main street near Parco Wenner is just lovely - amazing cafetteria (Cafetteria Ricciardi) and bakery/deli - but the area around the train station is a little sketchy. But all that said, we walked back from Pompei at 10pm at night and didn't feel in any danger at all, lots of young people out and about.Guest review byTonyAustralia - 8.0

The location is great for visiting Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, and Naples — everything is within easy reach by car. Our room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay. The hosts were kind and welcoming. It’s a good base if you’re looking to explore the region but return somewhere quiet and relaxing at night.
