It was great to stay in this beautiful renovated appartment, very clean, everything new. It is a quiet spot in busy Torre del Greco, there was also a nice spot to sit outside. Torre del Greco seems to be a suburb of Naples and is ideal for people who want to cycle up Vesuvius! It is right under the volcano. Well priced food and pizza restaurants, lovely little centre, excellent ice cream, it was a less chaotic version of Naples and prepared us for the big city! It was a taste of the real Italy. Few people spoke English, so our limited Italian was tested. As with many places of Italy, the place is 'gritty'. The room was not ready at appointed check in but they made us a coffee while we waited. The view is very good but it advertised a Restaurant but after we drove up the goat track we were told it is only open for weddings and functions so rather than go back to town we ate what snacks we had in the car. It was very pleasant on the Balcony at sunset. Please please fix the Shower rose is just about to fall off in the green room that flops down and you have to hold it in one hand.
