Stunning place with tremendous views, delicious local wines which you can try during various tastings, with passionate explanations by their sommelier. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and the staff is extremely warm and welcoming. We had an absolutely fantastic time and felt fully relaxed when leaving - we will be back!

Stunning seaside location, brand new hotel. Wonderful feel, huge windows looking out to sea. Fantastic restaurant, bar and breakfast all within hotel. Stunning wooden deck on the edge of the sea where you can eat breakfast and dinner. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Our room had a balcony over the sea - it was amazing. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We will definitely be returning here.

The place is great, perfectly equipped, clean and comfortable. Amazing old building with high sealing, a lot of room and a great feeling all around the property. Situated in a perfect spot, near the sea and all restaurants and cafes. The big parking nearby is a great advantage if you travel with a car. Breakfast is very nice, all good quality products (salty and sweet). The stuff is extremely polite and would help you in any way possible.

I was surprise by the quality and location for the price we received. The room was nice, whole hotel too. The got us an offer with free breakfast so obviously we were really happy. The breakfast wasn't something special, but it was gratis, and we were really grateful.

This is a beautiful new hotel a few minutes from the bus depot and port. it’s close to the old city and it’s fabulous restaurants. it’s also very close to catch the bus to the gondola to Erice. Loved our stay. The gorgeous lady who managed the breakfast area, totally spoilt me…..thank you!!💕

Seasoned with Life

Kite-shaped Trapani makes an impressive sight from lofty Mount Erice, connected to the peninsula below by cable car. On a clear day, the mountain also offers views of Tunisia - one destination of ferries from Trapani Port, alongside Cagliari, Pantelleria and the offshore Egadi Islands.

Overlooking the port is the old town, where arched doorways on narrow streets open onto many cheap apartments and B&Bs on Booking.com. Shabby chic façades sit alongside historic churches, such as understated Trapani Cathedral, somewhat lost amid elegant Corso Vittorio Emanuele, where pavement cafes sit in front of pastel-coloured buildings and metal balconies.

At the tip of the peninsula is the fortress-like Tower of Ligny lighthouse, now housing the Prehistory and Sea Museum. The Colombaia Castle protects the port from an island to the south, while in the other direction the sweeping coastline passes some beachfront hotels with swimming pools.

Villa Margherita Park offers shade from the Mediterranean sun, and Triton’s Fountain graces a neighbouring square. The simple façade of the Basilica of Maria Santissima Annunziata hides the treasures within, including a statue of the Madonna of Trapani which is at the heart of the Easter ‘Misteri’ celebrations.

Between the city and Trapani-Birgi Airport, historic windmills sit beside salt pans. The Salt Museum provides details of this major industry.

    I love both beaches and lively city centers at the same time and Trapani can offer that. A perfect cable car trip directly from Trapani to historic Erice. A beautiful sunset and a view of the illuminated Trapani. Interesting places in the vicinity: Segesta and Selinunte archeological parks, the very unusual Nuova Gibellina (plus Cretto di Buri) and bustling Palermo with majestic monuments. There are plenty of great restaurants in Trapani. I can't miss the Meno Tredici gelateria in the harbor and the great arancini at Al Pollero da Roberto.

    Trapani is a great base for day trips but also has an...

    Trapani is a great base for day trips but also has an amazing historical centre. Depending on route of entry the city seems quite industrial on arrival but it is a working port after all. Once you move further in the charm and character of the city become evident. Note that pretty much all the parking needs to be paid for. In June this was 08:00 to midnight at 1eur / hr. We used the Easypark app which does add a service fee but avoids the need for loads of coins.

    great city as a base, just the right size with a lot of day trip options—best thing is a boat excursion to Favignana with swimming stops! And the city has excellent restaurants and beautiful pedestrian only streets for strolling and browsing. The locals are super cool and nice

    Nice view from Erice mountain, I recomend ebike tour, but only on asphalt road !!! Very fast speedboat trip to Egladi islands. I recomend Lorenzo for pure nature and not so much people as on Favignana island.

    Trapani is not very clean city, there is rubbish everywhere. But it has nice nature, the mount Erice is great. I was missing more guides to touristic / interesting attractions. Buses are mess, you cannot count on city transportation.

    Very nice and helpful people everywhere. A lot of places to see around so Trapani is a great opportunity for transfers via public transport which works correctly. It's safe area for solo travelers.

    If you were on a vacation where everything was so perfect that you don’t want to go home, this one was it. In one word: AMAZING. Very nice and clean apartment decorated in Sicily style in perfect location. Near historic centre, near beautiful public beaches and also walking distance to the port. Owner was incredibly friendly and helpful in everything. He also owns a authentic Sicilian restaurant with great Food right under the apartment. I recommend it to everybody. We will definitely come back 👌

    The hotel was above our expectations. Nice location and structure. We stayed for one night, but everything was perfect: the bed is very comfortable, bathroom contained everything needed (nice options of shampoo, conditioner and soap) and good quality towels. Another amazing point was the super complete breakfast with various options for all tastes! The staff was very gentle and attentive, gave us some highlights about the city and also about Sicily in general. I highly recommend this place!

The renovation and decor is exceptional and the location is well placed with easy access to Trapani, Erice and other areas in the west of Sicily.
