This is not a busy tourist town.
This is not a busy tourist town. It is a nice quiet place on a hill looking out over the surrounding countryside and lovely lake. The main square has a cafe / bar where you can enjoy an expresso and watch the world go by. Some really good restaurants like the Osteria dell'accademia and Ristorante vecchio mulino. Also for a great breakfast, Sandwich or Pizza try Bar Hannibal. Its a great local bar very friendly and reasonable. The rooms are very well kept and we arrived to a complementary bottle of wine and other goodies. If your from UK or Ireland then there is just 1 channel on the TV but its such a pretty town why would you be stuck infront of a TV. There are 2 decent grocery stores nearby and some wonderful restaurants and bars. The best part is its still not too touristy.Guest review byJimIreland

Make lunch or brekkie if we wanted. Loved going to the Joker Bar for brekkie- absolute bargain. Worth walking up into town. Patrizio and Maria excellent- went above and beyond. So helpful.
