The attention to details with immaculate design of the place is simply stunning and a real gem - even in such a beautiful Chianti region! It was our 3rd time in Borgo Scopeto and 1st with our little dog Loki. The treat he got was a real 5 star approach. Loki got his own bed, welcome snacks, cleaning set and his own dog’s menu - which was of a super high quality (we took 2 sets with us when we left for home). The hotel's interior as well as architecture is exceptional, offering a true sense of luxury amidst the lush greenery of the surrounding hills.

A beautiful place in a perfect location near sienna. It's also a winery, they have wine and olive oil tasting options. the room was amazing, big and spacious and very very clean. and also comfy beds. it's vintage styled and well designed, beautiful. the host was so nice and breakfast was really good and Rich. You have a view of grape yards. we'd come again for sure!

A beautiful property with classic touches, luxury finish. We’ve came with my two teenager kids so we booked two rooms. Although the one bedroom apartment which kids stayed were good for people who needs kitchenette, we would highly recommend a villa as they are so spacious and absolutely luxury. Probably the most spacious room we’ve stayed and would be in top 5 best rooms we’ve ever stayed! Beautiful pool and surroundings. Initially we were worried that it’s not good option if you don’t have a car but we find it’s still not bad without rent car as the cab to Siena town costs only about 40 euro.

The location was spectacular, as was the castle itself. The food, the wine...all wonderful! We loved lazing in the hammock listening to the birds and cicadas. The view from the top of the tower was beautiful, too. A perfect stay in Tuscany - we would have loved to stay even longer.

We spent 3 fabulous days at this hotel. Nestled in the Chianti hills but less than 30 is drive from Siena. The room was very comfortable and quiet with excellent air conditioning. The grounds were lovely with lots of different areas to sit in, both in and out of the shade. Pool beautiful. We are in the restaurant all 3 nights. Food, service and sunset all amazing. No more expensive than other restaurants around. All staff friendly professional and efficient. Would highly recommend

    This is a great base from which to explore the Chianti area...

    This is a great base from which to explore the Chianti area if you are looking to visit the small towns and several wine producers. It is also about a 20 minute drive to Gaiole if you are in the area for the Eroica cycling event. I really like the area - the hills are covered with oak forests or vineyards, and on most of the roads you drive through a tunnel of trees and foliage. The excellent wine and natural beauty alone are enough to merit a visit, but on top of that, the area also produced some of the best artists and writers of the renaissance, including Boccaccio, Dante, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci.

    Great breakfast. Optional wine and olive oil tasting of properties products at minimal cost. Good sized room, bed area and living area and ensuite. Great pool (weather only good couple of days though). Patio area with deckchairs, outdoor eating (secluded for some rooms, shared for others). Cool in room- good for hot weather. Parking close by and undercover. A short drive from Siena and central in Tuscany o most of main tourist towns within an hour.

    The views were stunning. Nice and quiet. Wonderful pool and very clean which was welcomed in the heat we experienced. Friendly and helpful hosts who gave us lots of information of the area and also produce from their garden. Siena only 20 minutes away. The Coop is an excellent supermarket with everything you need and more. The perfect location to escape to.
