The staff was overly friendly. Our room was very big and clean with a view on the lake. Beds were very comfortable and it was calm in the night. Everything was perfect.

Amazing location, however not easily accessible. The house is surrounded by meandring stairs and corridors, which I find extremely charming. View from the windows straight on Lugano lake and roofs of surrounding buildings. Down by the main road bar full of locals with all what you need in the morning:)

Beautiful location on the Italian side of Lake Lugano, complete on it's own with a small beach, splash pools and water slide, spa, a playground, a fish and turtle pond, childcare and three restaurants. The place was spotless. The service was exceptional! I mean really! Everyone smiles and it felt they are genuinely interested in the people around. They waived off the charges for our second child. :) and sent us bottles of water for the drive back. I've never had that before. We'll definitely go back again.

Excellent hotel with breathtaking view of Lake Lugano and outstandingly friendly and professional staff. Every request was accommodated with the utmost competence and care. Hotel restaurant is of amazing creativity and quality and absolutely needs to be experienced. The spa can be privately reserved and allows for true relaxation. All in all, without a doubt, the best hotel experience we ever had.

    Beautiful small village.

    Beautiful small village. Easy access to lake , Lugano and mountains. Some narrow roads and lots of speed cameras . Walking around the village is limited. Ate in the restaurant at Hotel Stella d’Italia ; excellent.

    We loved this place. It is ideally for calm stay. Our room with lake view on the 2 floor was big and spacious. Bathroom with the window and balcony). The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was simple, but included in the price of the room. You don't have to go anywhere in the evening, you can take a diner right here. There is a restaurant downstairs. The lake with pontoon-bridge is just 3 min from the hotel. So you can swim. There is a on -site parking space. Highly recommended!

    The location overlooking the lake was beautiful, we booked a table for dinner as soon as we saw the dining terrace with views over the lake! Parking was convenient when pre booked, in a a garage behind the hotel, just be careful with passing traffic as there’s no pavement. The lounge was a beautiful room. Sitting on the loungers by the lake was lovely with towels provided for guests to use.

    A charming little city with lots of character and direct location on Lake Lugano. The hotel's location is directly across from the public pool and swimming area. Hugely convenient. Breakfast was very good despite being on a smaller side.
