Location, the view from the deck, friendly staff at the bar, great restaurant. A bit pricey (high season), but totally worth every penny. It’s the best place to stay in Vernazza, place with history, the founder Gianni is a very special person in the history of tourism in Cinque Terre and Vernazza. Their restaurant was recommended to me by a local, and food was amazing, they really care about quality.

The best services I've got for the last couple years were in this place. Breakfasts were great, even gluten free options for myself. Really glad my son chose this place. Close to the train station, to the tower above Vernazza and also to the beach.

Fantastic location - loved being able to see the cemetery above the village and hear the clock tower bells and waves at night! Reviewers who have complained about steps may not be familiar with Vernazza, where EVERYplace has lots of steps. These (only 63 total from standing on the beach to standing at the front door) were no worse than anywhere else, and much more scenic than interior stairs. Hosts were great with communication: clear instructions, easy code box for access, and great explanations once inside. Apartment was spacious, clean, and perfectly located - we hope to return!

    We stayed in Corniglia as it was the middle village of the 5...

    We stayed in Corniglia as it was the middle village of the 5. This enabled us to walk to one or two villages in either direction and then return by train. Unfortunately, Corniglia is the only one of the 5 not to have a landing for the boats that travel up and down the coast. The train fare is the same irrespective of the distance travelled. All the villages are exceedingly difficult to access by car with twisty narrow roads and the need to park outside the village and walk in having paid Euros 20 to park for the day if you were able to find a space. So if travelling by car, a dedicated parking space near your accommodation is a must.

    Nice town worth visiting. The beach is wonderful! Traveled by car, used the payed parking no problem followed by shuttle, lots of stairs to get to the property with luggage- you need to be in good shape.

    Super relaxing. no cars, no other traffic.

    Super relaxing. no cars, no other traffic. A place to get the real Italian vibe with amazing cafe in the morning and strolling around the place is just perfect. It's small and charming and everywhere we went it was fantastic, friendly with kind and hardworking people. La Torre Restaurant was mindblowing. They had a power out in half of the city that day and still cooked for us with mobil flashlight and gas stove. The absolute best meal we had in Italy and the view was just breath taking.

    We loved the quaintness of vernazza.

    We loved the quaintness of vernazza. No cars etc around.we had 5nights and wandered to all villages.the little supermarket is very small and hours not the greatest but plenty of places to eat.during day may be busy but morning and late afternoons were fabulous.there were free concerts on too in the square which were delightful.cann enjoy takeaways on the rocks with beautiful views

    Lovely Village very nice people.

    Lovely Village very nice people. The main square is lively with great restaurents. The beach is close and there are lots of boating trips to the other villages. The hotel we stayed in was wonderful with a bar and a varenda on the cliffs of the Medeteranian Sea. Wonderful views and quiet time.

    Vernazza is absolutely "picture perfect" and my favourite...

    Vernazza is absolutely "picture perfect" and my favourite village, so far, of the Cinque Terre. It's small enough to feel cosy and intimate but busy enough to have everything you could possibly want or need during your stay. It's colourful gelato-coloured houses and streets, are such a delight! The port is stunning and is surrounded by lovely bars and restaurants and overlooks the calmer waters of the port bay, with it's fishing boats. The access was easy via car (leaving it at a custodian carpark and using a shuttle service to/from town). We also used trains which were extremely efficient ,modern and clean. Unfortunately we couldn't use the ferry service as the seas were very high during our stay. Our anniversary dinner was spectacular and so much fun, due to crashing waves and delightful staff! We highly recommend the BELFORTE restaurant on the end of the point, for its atmosphere, fabulous architecture, friendly & warm staff and absolutely fabulous food and wine choices! We were also fortunate enough to expereince the weekly market in Vernazza (Tuesday) which was fun and had lots of fabulous bargains, artisan pieces, clothings, food and decorative items. For those that aren't great walkers, we found Vernazza one of the easier villages to stroll through. Unless you're headed up to a restaurant or accomodation (lots of stairs) the main shopping and eating areas from the train station downwards towards the sea, are relatively flat and easy for most, I would say. A trip to the Cinque Terre, without seeing Vernazza would be a terrible shame!

    Good location especially for properties on the Cinque Terre which are typically hanging off the side of a steep hill, and up dozens of stairs. This first floor apartment is one street back from the water and restaurants. Good facilities, amazing bathroom set into the rock. Pod coffee machine was very welcome, along with some supplies for first breakfast. Vernazza is one of the best locations on this part of the coast.

    The apartment was very clean. The host was lovely and helped us with our luggage up all the stairs you can expect in Vernazza. He explained everything to us as well sending us links to useful information about Cinque Terre. The location could not have been any better! It was beautiful! They host allowed us to store our luggage in his shop after checking out as our train did not arrive until later.

    The location near the train station, but very quiet, and situated on a running brook with outstanding hospitality made for a very enjoyable stay. We were met on arrival at the train station and escorted a short distance to the hotel. The rooms were excellent size and perfect for our two day stay. A short and easy walk to the Vernazza restaurant and retail area and port.

    An absolute gem, located on the main street in Vernazza with all the facilities you need or expect in such a historic resort. Balcony is the best place for relaxing and watching the world go by. only one flight of stairs up which in Cinque Terre is a bonus! literally everything on your door step.

    We enjoyed our stay in the Vernazza apartment, it is in a very good location and was a nice change on our trip after stopping in hotels. Check in was straight forward and the view from the balcony was nice because you could see the sea.
