The perfect location with splendid views and very helpful, friendly, good staff. Breakfast is tasty. The room had bath products and a fridge. A cosy hotel with a reasonable price. Parking is close by and free.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay: Great "Red suite", with a nice view. Sumptuous breakfast and dinner. Of course, the calm and the great view come to a price: Almost 40 minutes from Modena to the castle, and the last km is a single lane curvy road uphill.

Extremely helpful hosts, polite people, everyone tried to help with any problems. Property and grounds very clean and well maintained. The wedding house on the hill is really special. The location outside the big cities is very interesting, but only accessible by car. Definitely recommend!!!

Very nice and comfortable stay. We felt very welcome by the family. Home made delicious breakfast and good recommendation for a close by restaurant for dinner. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to overnight during your travel or looking for a nice place to stay in this area.

Very friendly staff, lovely and extremely spacious rooms, the Lambrusco wine selection is amazing and the food was lovely. Great location and view from the terrace too! And for the coffeelovers; coffee at breakfast is a classic Bialetti moccapot. Alot of parkingspace and well accesible by motorcycle. The owner was also kind enough to help me make a small repair on my motorbike after i sustained some damage to the bodywork for which i cannot thank him enough!

Fabulous place , we didn’t have time for the tour to see the making of the balsamic vinegars but they did open shop to enable us to buy them having sampled them at breakfast. There was no restaurant on site but we were recommended to go to cantina garibaldi a five minute drive away where we had one of the best meals we had during our whole three week italian trip.

A small village with several attractions nearby. A small stream (currently dry) flows past the house. Along the stream, you'll find a path suitable for walking or biking. A few minutes' drive away, you'll find La Pinetina Park; you'll find deer, peacocks, and other wildlife roaming freely. There's a convenient café inside the park.

Not very appreciated: very noisy environment, very small...

Not very appreciated: very noisy environment, very small room, no air conditioning (some rooms have it I learned the next day), we didn't sleep because of the heat, depressing corridor and rather mediocre breakfast.
