Everything about this property was amazing! We loved Vietri! The apartment had an elevator, which was appreciated as we had two suitcases. The bedroom was clean, spacious and incredibly welcoming, as were the hosts. This is a family owned and run B&B, which we loved. Vincenzo, our host, made us delicious cappuccino every morning, brought in fresh Italian pasties, and had time to chat with us and give us advice on where to eat. Thank you Vincenzo! Grazie! The views from our bedroom and the breakfast room were spectacular! It was obvious that a great deal of care was taken to meet our needs as tourists. Complimentary coffee or tea available, along with snacks, juice and water, were always available in the breakfast room. This was so appreciated after a tiring day! Also, the washroom was spacious, clean and well thought out. Grazie to the whole family!

Great town, good home base for other activities in the area, if you're traveling by car. Less touristy than, say, Positano. The town clearly has a life of its own beyond just servicing tourists. We could have stayed longer just to visit more of the restaurants, and do more in the area. We did easy side trips to Paestum, Pompeii, Salerno.

Lots of ceramic shops selling almost the same items. many good restaurants within walking distance. Arrive by train then take the accensore (elevator) down to the town - the lift-well is lined with blue tiles and fish. Gorgeous. The ferry stops down at the bay and bus 68 takes you up to the town for 1.4euro. Buy the ticket from the ladies in the ceramic shop near the bus stop before you board and validate on the bus.

I booked the Double Room with Sea View for good money but at no value. The room had a window with blinds that were broken and not possible to open, so instead of the sea view I've got the 4 walls closed space (perfect for Amalfi coast vacation!). Old smelly absolutely shaky furniture, cracks on the walls, dirty walls that haven't seen any paint since the building was finished I guess. Even the soap saucer in the bathroom was cracked. Announced breakfast is just stale croissants with jam and lowkey coffee. Worst experience ever, don't recommend anyone.

We were looking to have a relaxing holiday in a cosy, seaside town and Vietri certainly didn't disappoint! It's a beautiful place with lots of lovely shops, bars and restaurants. Everyone was very friendly and eager to help us out. We visited a few places like Amalfi and Positano which we felt were too busy and touristy, but Vietri wasn't like that at all, it feels genuine rather than commercialised. There's a lot of steps as others have mentioned, but I think this just adds to the character of the place and helps to burn off those big bowls of pasta. I honestly couldn't recommend it highly enough and we hope to go back again in the future!

We think Vietri is the best place to stay on the Amalfi coast. It is easy to reach (most other towns are a pain to drive to), and is a great place to explore from, with Pompeii only 25 mins drive and Herculaneum around 35 minutes, all motorway. The town itself is very authentic and prices are reasonable compared to the better known places. The boat service to other Amalfi towns is regular and easy to use without being too expensive (€25 return to Amalfi for 2 people) - we enjoyed the boat trips as much as the towns which were generally heaving with tourists, I’d hate to think what high season is like

A charming village full of character, famed for its beautiful pottery, we particularly enjoyed its charming little shops filled with colour and variety. The location was conveniently close to Molina, the small village where we stayed. On our first day, we dined at a local restaurant that was excellent, with a variety of fish and meat dishes at reasonable prices. I would recommend avoiding Naples on busy days, as it can be quite chaotic.

The host Alfredo & Sabrina were very lovely - they greeted us at a few roads ahead and showed us the way to the accomodation. The location was amazing, easy and the view was absolutely stunning. Pictures were exactly like the actual house, cosy for 3 of us. Just a few mins to the centre of Vietri Sul Mare and the beaches. There are steps but not difficult at all. Locals were lovely and very welcoming. We’d definitely book again if we come back ! Thank you so much!

Villa was super clean, complimented with very modern furniture and facilities (fridge/cooker/hob/microwave/etc). Although villa is far from Amalfi, it is yet in a quiet picturesque town of Vietri sul Mare. Also Villa had private parking included which is a must in the area. It felt like being taken back in time - a beautiful building where the original features were kept, but without compromising with the comfort of today. The view to the sea and Vietri Sul Mare town is wonderful, and the garden in several levels is full of lovely smells from the plants.

Very stylishly designed apartment with everything you need. Outstanding location in the centre of the beautiful town of Vietri Sul Mare. Valerio is a very kind and helpful host. I highly recommend this place for a perfect stay in Vietri and hope to visit it again someday :)
