Madame on reception was very, very nice and helpfull. Hotel is beautiful everything is new and stylish. Rooms and clean and new. Breakfast are very practical and great choices. I will definitely come back when I will have opportunity. Location is great just next to the Lago. Overall 10/10

The owners, Daniela and her husband were the best hosts you could wish for: always friendly and helpful with advice about Stresa, the restaurants and surrounding excursions. The breakfasts on the terrace were the best! And of course the views from the terrace and limoncello late evenings will not be forgotten. We will be back!

The building is brand new and equipped to the highest standards. The rooftop terrace is fantastic- a 360 degree view on the lake panorama. The staff is without exception welcoming, attentive and kind. Spacious and free parking. The hotel is just across the street from the boat lines leaving for the islands.

Lovely staff - very friendly & helpful - Tracy the dog was also very sweet! Beautiful spacious accommodation with a wonderful vista of Lake Maggiore. Breakfast was delicious with the splendid panoramic view. Stresa is a most pleasant, relaxing town to stay in. We sailed to Isola Bella & Isola Madre (on the same day), the extraordinary Villa Taranto on another & all the way back from Locarno in Switzerland after taking the Lago Maggiore express train through the spectacular Alpine valleys. Stresa is an ideal location for these memorable excursions & Hotel Residence La Luna Nel Porto was the perfect place to stay - we even saw a full moon one evening which is why the hotel is called Moon Harbour, I guess!

Amazing hotel! The photos does not do the justice - everything looks and feels 100 times better in real life! Hotel is about 200 years old so you can feel the history by living there, gardens are maintained and looked after. Pool is beyond perfect with a view to mountains and lake. Hotel is in very quite place so if you seeking to relax - perfect choice. Staff is amazing and trying to do everything and beyond for the guests. Food is amazing too. Chef is using local products, we had great dinner and breakfast. Breakfast is only 15€ per person and you get chosen hot food as well as variety of cheeses, meats, vegetables, pastries and etc. Our room had a lake view, the original tiles on the floors and in the bathroom. Everything decorated in vitange luxury Italian style. Even sheets are Italian made, comfortable bed. I will definately come back and recommend to everyone. This was one of our highlights of trip around Lake Maggiorre! Thank you, Team and Oweners !! You doing amazing job!

    The appartement is located in one of the lovely small streets in Vignone, a beautiful very small authentic Italian village at 550m in the hills behind Verbania, with lovely small streets. It's like living, how the Italians live, surrounded with all very friendly Italian neighbours. The appartement is lovely furnished and very well equiped with an Italian touch. Everything you need is available. Big kitchen, beautiful flowery garden and balcony. Good 2pers bed. I have stayed here alone with my dog. Public Swimming pool nearby and the lake at around 10- 15mn drive down hill. By car you can drive everywhere you like. Ada is very friendly and she helps and inform you with everything if you like. I highly can recommend this beautiful independent place, if you like to stay in an authentic Italian village with the locals in the hills of Verbania.
