The suite was excellent, very clean, large with a view to the main garden. The staff changed our towels daily and prepared a full breakfast buffet for all tastes. The location is also excellent as it's close to the Terme dei Papi (the hotel also offers a ferry service to and from the springs) and also very close to Viterbo. We used it as a base to explore the region for which it was perfectly located. We would definitely book again.

The staff were exceptional. The reception staff were able to source taxis to take us to our destination and also bring us back to the hotel. Breakfast staff brought their own cooked cakes in for us to enjoy. A real gem of a hotel.

    Viterbo is a lovely town to visit and it is definitely a trip worth it if you want to escape all the hassle and bustle of Rome. Viterbo has a unique charm and I fell in love with it when I walked the Via Francigena. I stayed in Orchard Bed & Breakafast in Viterbo centre on the Via francigena path as it is available for pilgrims. Viterbo has more than one Spa resort. There are plenty of restaurants and the city is booming with vibrance and cafes. staying 3 nights in Viterbo was definitely worth it. The Park is lovely and the people are friendly. You do not have to worry about theft or other annoying misdemeanors. I would recommend 'Pizza Express'. It is an Indian restaurant, reasonable price and offers a wide range of dishes!!!

    A lovely mostly little undiscovered medieval town. It’s only small but very cute with lots of restaurants and an attractive cathedral and papal palace. Easily walkable and not very far from Rome. Mostly quiet except on weekends

    I was very positively surprised.

    I was very positively surprised. Viterbo is an absolute jewel. If you can, go there! Admire the fantastic houses from the middle ages or even older. The eateries especially in the vicinity of Via San Lorenzo are great. The ancient city wall is almost completely intact and spectalular.

    Lovely medieval walled town with interesting history and historic buildings. It is easy and pleasant to walk in the historic part of the town. Interesting small museum mostly about the Etruscans. Viterbo was originally an Etruscan town. Free thermal baths nearby.

    Old, romantic, fine town with a lot of old, romantic and nice places around it. I like to draw city views and was busy every minute. It was not a high season, may be this was a reason why I didn't find normal street food, only pizza.
