Wonderful place. We enjoyed everything about it (find the little gem which is the natural mineral pool - so refreshing!). The staff are wonderful -- friendly, helpful and attentive. Ochi Rios typical tourist location in Jamaica where specific populations are served. There are hidden gems to be found but you have to search them out. Insiders stay up in the hills above Ochi and drive down. The toll road is not far so you can explore other parts of the island. Ocho Rios has a very small town feel.
Ocho Rios has a very small town feel. You feel safe, the locals are friendly. They have all the modern day convenience, grocery stores, restaurants dine in take out. Dunno River Fall-FABULOUS, Shopping Mall, fabulous, Miss T restaurant delicious food and service- I highly recommend Getting around by foot or taxi inexpensive and easy. Shops, restaurants, transport and much more are within walking distance. Hotel is lovely with welcoming staff who are very helpful and provide a good service. The apartment is overlooking sea cliffs with a small beach 2 minutes walk away. Two comfortable bedrooms, if sleeping in the road side bedroom you won’t get much sleep due to loud music till the early hours as seems to be the norm all over Jamaica.
