YOU HAVE TO GO TO THIS PLACE! While the room is quite simple and there are a few mosquitos, the cultural experience you will have here will by far make you forget any little discomforts you may have! Abdullah was an outstanding host, so generous with his time and his heart! It is truly a unique experience to stay with this family and I can only assume that each stay would be a little different, but equally as rewarding based on what is going on at that time. All the food and tea/coffee that is provided is mind-boggling and so, so delicious! I cannot recommend staying here enough, especially if you are even remotely interested in gaining insight into true Jordan and its people!

I don’t even know where to start. This truly unique place was exceptional. We are incredibly clean and tidy people but this took it to a whole new level. We particularly enjoyed meeting the family who have lived in the area for lifetimes and hope we remain friends for years to come. Interestingly their balanced friendship was extended into a larger family feeling in the nearby village, for example, the local fruit and veg shop where we took all our items to the till and the person serving us offered them to us for free! A truly magical part of the world let alone Jordan. The accommodation was exceptional and the best bit, THE VIEW. I’m rarely speechless as a result of visiting Iceland and other beautiful parts of the world but I was stunned by the incredible view. Breakfast was so delicious, a full buffet delivered to our convenience. I work online, internet is important to me so finding out there was no wifi was a concern, however, there’s FULL 4G coverage in the area and I was sharing my screen, video calling on my hotspot with no problem at all.

We spent 1 night,after Baptismal Site and Dead Sea,before visiting Wadi bin Hammad. Family of 4,10 yrs old boy and 3 female ,we had room with 3 beds(one double) with private bathroom, clean and tidy,AC included . They have swimming pool. Exceptional view of the Dead Sea and Palestine, amazing sunset. The most important are friendly staff and the owner treat you as you are part of his huge family. Delicious traditional Arabic breakfast and delightful tea.

They have built a great structure in the middle of the mountain, very close some secondary unknown hikes that are quite impressive. The building itself is made out of concrete, and it offers some rooms that are modern, big, comfortable, with everything and anything you need, with a good bathroom and hot water. The staff is very welcoming, and take care of you from the moment you arrive. Dinner and breakfast were very very good. We were alone, and we could feel the magic of the place from the very beginning. We had a great pleasant night. I would really recommend.
