DARKUM Apartment - PETRA Period: 21/04/25 to 24/04/25 (3 nights) Guests: 6 Adults (2 couples & 2 adult children) Accommodation:: 1 super-large double with en-suite shower/toilet/wash-basin, 1 x super-large double, 1 x triple (3 single beds). 1 x super-large kitchen-diner, 1 x large lounge, 1 x entrance hall. 1 x shower room with toilet & wash-basin. Ample parking & open space . Step-free throughout living accommodation. Located on the outskirts of Petra in a local residential area, well away from the tourist noise & bustle. Mini-supermarkets for essentials within walking distance & two local masjids as well close by. Facilities' used: Wi-Fi, TV etc. Dining table set, Kitchen storage, Crockery, Cooking-ware & utensils. Gas Cooker with oven, Microwave, Fridge-Freezer. Washing Machine, Vacuum cleaner. Fully furnished rooms & lounge. Portable electric heaters. Our experience:: Excellent, wonderful, homely. Host (Mum), Mohammed (& Ayman) were helpful from the time we booked to the day we left. Mohammed specks good English & was very helpful with any arrangement, need or request – going out of his way to make our stay enjoyable.. Breakfasts provided were freshly made; hearty & healthy, made with local foodstuffs. We simply advised of the time & it was ready - even as early as 6.30am!. Mum will also do dinner if requested, at a very reasonable JoD cost (we simply did no have time to take this up). This is simply perfect for families. Lovely stay at musa roual house 🥰 Staff were excellent, and gave teasty food Emad was very welcoming.and he give me more information about Jordan culture. I love this place really and i recommend it Big thanks for emad and staff .

Accomodation was super clean, pretty and also the food was delightful.

Staff were very helpful. Some cheap restaurants nearby. They were also kind enough to make pasta for my kids who are super fussy eaters.

Ahmeed is a super host! Super kind and helpful for any request we made! His wife prepared us a suuuper dinner for us super traditional, and gave us a very early take away breakfast before our visit to Petra. He also advised us a nice Turkish hammam and let us have a discount there.

To begin with, we were so happy having decided to stay 3 days in this particular hotel in Petra. In 35 years of travelling we have met very few attentive owners (Ahmad and Mohammad here) of the hotel who got out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The hotel owners even felt responsible for their guests' problems unrelated to the hotel. We had a rental with a dead key fob battery and the first thing we did when we entered the hotel was to ask where we could buy a new battery. The owner Ahmad asked us not to bother and have a rest. He bought the battery himself and refused to take the money. Each time we met one of the owners or a staff member Mahmoud we were asked if we needed something, if everything was fine. The hotel has an underground parking with the lift to upper floors. Our room on the 2nd floor was very spacious, spotless, with a fridge and a kettle and complimentary water. The breakfast was varied, very tasty buns (especially the ones with cinnamon). We found the location excellent for our needs. A five minute drive to Petra visitor centre, a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants , a 3 minute walk to the bakery (try kullaj -flaky pastry). Should we decide to visit Petra again, we will undoubtedly stay in the same hotel.

The location of Petra Moon Luxury was amazing. The rooms were clean, spacious and exactly what we needed after a long day of trekking. The rooftop pool makes it the perfect choice for our trip. Since we were short on time, it was the staff who made it truly unforgettable - upon their advice we entered Petra around 13h30 (1pm) "from the back", meaning starting with the highest point, walking down (after a 50 min hike and a short bus ride) - which was totally worth it. Thank you for your great advice and this unforgettable stay.

Clean and the staff are friendly and helpful

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location was fantastic, breakfast and dinner were delicious and the overall stay was pleasant. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting Petra and Wadi Musa.
