Clean, beautiful and quiet hotel. Excellent reception and wonderful breakfast. The staff was nice. The parking lot they have is large. A good option to spend some time in Petra

DARKUM Apartment - PETRA Period: 21/04/25 to 24/04/25 (3 nights) Guests: 6 Adults (2 couples & 2 adult children) Accommodation:: 1 super-large double with en-suite shower/toilet/wash-basin, 1 x super-large double, 1 x triple (3 single beds). 1 x super-large kitchen-diner, 1 x large lounge, 1 x entrance hall. 1 x shower room with toilet & wash-basin. Ample parking & open space . Step-free throughout living accommodation. Located on the outskirts of Petra in a local residential area, well away from the tourist noise & bustle. Mini-supermarkets for essentials within walking distance & two local masjids as well close by. Facilities' used: Wi-Fi, TV etc. Dining table set, Kitchen storage, Crockery, Cooking-ware & utensils. Gas Cooker with oven, Microwave, Fridge-Freezer. Washing Machine, Vacuum cleaner. Fully furnished rooms & lounge. Portable electric heaters. Our experience:: Excellent, wonderful, homely. Host (Mum), Mohammed (& Ayman) were helpful from the time we booked to the day we left. Mohammed specks good English & was very helpful with any arrangement, need or request – going out of his way to make our stay enjoyable.. Breakfasts provided were freshly made; hearty & healthy, made with local foodstuffs. We simply advised of the time & it was ready - even as early as 6.30am!. Mum will also do dinner if requested, at a very reasonable JoD cost (we simply did no have time to take this up). This is simply perfect for families. This place and especially personal genuinely show you how Jordan people are kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and if you want to enjoy calm, authentic and friendly place in Wadi Misa before or after your visit of Petra I would recommend you Anas House!

Very nice host, communication, facilities. The owner is a fantastic interlocutor. He helps in addition, all options are available, you just have to ask. We traveled with a wheelchair. Everything is possible, achievable. A beautiful place. The dinner is delicious and interesting. I recommend it, one of the best lodgings, high quality, accurate

the space is very comfortable and if you have a car the location is super convenient as out of town but still close to Petra and Wadi Musa. The food is not included in the price but highly recommended: breakfast in the room was good, but for dinner we got invited into the host's home and they had cooked a proper feast for us, lots of different local food and everything was so tasty

In the middle of desert clean showers and toilets. Camp run by Beduin family doing all to make customer happy. Great dinner in camp and fabulous lunch prepared by guide during the tour.

To begin with, we were so happy having decided to stay 3 days in this particular hotel in Petra. In 35 years of travelling we have met very few attentive owners (Ahmad and Mohammad here) of the hotel who got out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The hotel owners even felt responsible for their guests' problems unrelated to the hotel. We had a rental with a dead key fob battery and the first thing we did when we entered the hotel was to ask where we could buy a new battery. The owner Ahmad asked us not to bother and have a rest. He bought the battery himself and refused to take the money. Each time we met one of the owners or a staff member Mahmoud we were asked if we needed something, if everything was fine. The hotel has an underground parking with the lift to upper floors. Our room on the 2nd floor was very spacious, spotless, with a fridge and a kettle and complimentary water. The breakfast was varied, very tasty buns (especially the ones with cinnamon). We found the location excellent for our needs. A five minute drive to Petra visitor centre, a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants , a 3 minute walk to the bakery (try kullaj -flaky pastry). Should we decide to visit Petra again, we will undoubtedly stay in the same hotel.

The room is clean and cozy, bathroom very clean, staff amazing. The location is also great. They even gave us a souvenir in the end.
