Everything about Fujikawaguchiko is just perfect. Nice town, beautiful view of Mt Fuji. For an outdoor enthusiast, this town is perfect. It got mountains, nice enough for day hike. it got caves, lakes, old tunnel turn into a museum, ropeway, halal restaurant. The place was amazing.
The place was amazing. The people of Fujikawaguchiko were friendly and helpful. The landscape and nature was beautiful. From biking around the lake, walking to the waterfall and hiking on the trails it was wonderful. This place is awesome, i had a wonderful hiking to Mt. Fuji.
This place is awesome, i had a wonderful hiking to Mt. Fuji. It's a worth experience in my life. The other places like Oshino Hakai village, Chureito Pagoda are beautiful. Great city but only for a couple of days.
Great city but only for a couple of days. The lake was very nice. A lot of people go for hiking to the fuji mountain but we didn't. There is not a lot to do in the city if you don't plan any activities but still the view of the mountain was worth it. Have in mind that the mountain wasn't visible for the first 2 days we only saw it the last day before leaving as it was very cloudy and we were told that the mountain is only visible about 90 days of the year so have that in mind.Guest review byPanayiotisCyprus - 10.0

Ropeway and boat trip was good. Fujikawaguchiko is nice and quiet place, but little bit...
Fujikawaguchiko is nice and quiet place, but little bit boring. No nightlife, or great restaurants. Walking trails and roads overgroving with weeds. The town has lake, but no place to swim. City maitenance is poor. Connections with other places difficult. Public transport nonexistant. No hiking possibilities in the Japan Alps.Guest review byAnonymousEstonia

It’s only a short walk from the station and a few near by restaurants. The rooms are quite big - biggest ones we’ve stayed in while travelling Japan. The rooms provided a really authentic feel and had great views both of Mt Fuji and of the lake. The breakfast was nice with a great variety of dishes available. But wow, the highlight was the dinner.
