Loved the view of Mt Fuji overseeing the lake from our room Also loved the Japanese-style room, and the dinner and breakfast we availed of were great. The onsens were also a pleasant experience to try, and the staff were very attentive and can speak English well. We also appreciated the shuttle back to the station.

What a lovely hotel – three stars but definitely deserves more. Our room was a traditional Japanese Ryokan with tatami flooring and three futons. We had a fabulous view of Mount Fuji from our bedroom window with clear skies for each of the four nights we stayed here. The hotel is a short drive to the Fujikawaguchiko ropeway and within walking distance of surrounding restaurants, convenience stores, a supermarket, etc. The team of staff at Kawaguchiko Park is super-friendly and helpful. Two of the guys washed down our car one morning after some Autumn leaves had falled on top of it. We used the open-air Onsen each of the four evenings we were there, it’s calm, clean and beautiful. There are also two massage chairs that proved very popular with my daughters – provided for free. Japanese breakfast at the Kawaguchiko Park Hotel was a beautiful experience – very traditional items all laid out carefully for us on our table. We had no idea what most of them were but there was plenty to eat to start each of our days. Thank you to the team at Kawaguchiko Park Hotel – we loved staying with you and hope to return one day.

The room is very spacious and spotlessly clean! Apart from the bed, there is a large living area connecting with the outdoor patio where you can enjoy breakfast (delivered to the door in a wooden basket!) with direct views of Mount Fuji. Every “ room” is in reality a little villa exclusively to yourselves and it’s really good value for money. The location is easy for travellers not driving like us. It’s a 5-minute walk from Kawaguchi station (main train station in the area). The okonomiyaki restaurant literally right opposite is very delicious. There’s on-site self-service laundry. Staff is very friendly and helpful 👍🏻

The room was by far the biggest and most comfortable we’ve had in Japan — super spacious, spotlessly clean, and very cozy. The breakfast was exceptional, with so much care and quality in every detail, a real highlight of our mornings. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the host/owners. They were incredibly welcoming, warm, and without a doubt the most kind and adorable people we’ve met in Japan so far. Their hospitality made us feel completely at home. We cannot recommend this place highly enough — if you are visiting Kawaguchiko, staying here will make your trip extra special! 🌸
