Near Hemije only 30mins away on local JR train, so convenient for visiting Hemije castle. This is a truly authentic Ryokan in a small town. The town is unremarkable, but the rooms and the meal was absolutely Fantastic, and perhaps the most authentic experience of a Ryokan we had over a 16 day trip in Japan. I would definitely recommend and i hope one day myself to return.

Really nice traditional Japanese house. Very clean, spacious, confortable and beautiful. The host was lovely and very friendly . We had a great barbecue meal there. I recommended.

Honestly splendid stay. Spacious rooms, soft beds and linnen, very clean, great Onsen. Location literally next to the station so perfect for a one night stay in Himeji like we did. Breakfast was a bit overrated based on other reviews I saw but there is endless choices for every culture. It closes at 9:30 already which is early. Nonetheless you’ll have a very pleasant stay!

I stayed in this hotel with my family (including kids 4 and 7). The location is really good, a walking distance to trainstation, center, castle… Breakfast was diverse: both Japanese and internationl (it took some time for our kids to get used to Japanese food so they really liked the breakfast in this hotel).

The location, the staff, the onsen - everything was great. The natural onsen's waters were very soothing, that it also had an outside pool was great. The staff was extremely friendly, suggesting places to see, and good restaurants. Their English was really good, and we asked help for another reservation and they called them in our name, and sorted out the problem for us. The location of the hotel is very close to the train station, and the main historical attraction (the Himeji castle) is in walking distance - so, it was a great place for a two day trip.
