We absolutely loved everything about B&B Itadaki! Suzuki and his wife were amazing hosts. The breakfasts were the best we’ve had in our lives and Suzuki’s talent is broadly shown in the dinner you can reserve in advance. The place is so calming and peaceful. It was the perfect place to wind down and appreciate Shizuoka’s beauty.

Hayashi was a fantastic host, the accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed and had everything we needed. After Tokyo, this was the perfect relaxing and peaceful change we needed. The sauna and plunge pool were incredible - the most beautiful sauna I’ve ever used. We wish we’d booked for longer three Nights was not enough. The irori room experience was so much fun, and sensational value for money. Thank you Hayashi and family, you made us feel so welcome and looked after, while we still felt we had privacy and freedom. Amazing - don’t hesitate to book this!!

Excellent and restful stay - the hotel is closed to the train station. The staff spoke English and were very welcoming ! Close (2min walk) to an onsen too. The hotel area also includes a food court and a coworking space. Would definitely come back to have a rest in Yaizu.

My wife left her Hoka shoes at the hotel. Although The Villa informed us about this very promptly, we were unable to pick up the shoes because we flew home the next day. However, for a very reasonable fee, they agreed to send the shoes to us in Germany. Dear Villa team, thank you very much for this. The service at the hotel was first-class, the food was delicious, and the beer from the tap in the rooms was unique and excellent. All in all, a very nice stay and absolutely recommendable.

Excelent stay. The onsen was perfect! The lounge was full of manga and full body massagers - so good! Rooms were very big as for Japan. Excelen hotel stuff provided very good instructions as per parking.

The location was very convenient to get to the station and to other interesting bits of the city. The bed was very comfortable with a firm mattress, which my back loved! To my great surprise, I had a view of beautiful Fuji-san from my 10th floor window on 1 of the 4 days I stayed (3 days the clouds were too low). Japanese breakfast was great with miso, rice, salad, pickles, fresh grilled fish and more. Free coffee available, and a load of different things could be borrowed from the front desk for no fee (I borrowed an iron and ironing board, and a plug converter). Lots of vending machines and a coin operated washer/dryer were also available. Staff were friendly and helpful. 7-11 located literally downstairs next door was handy for snacks and bits and bobs. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shizuoka.

I don't even know how many times I've stayed at this hotel, probably 10 different times already. Associa is the best location when you plan to use the Shizuoka often. Hotel is kept very well and the price is not so bad as well. There are a lot of walkable locations and that is always a plus. I will definitely stay here again in a few months.
