The breakfast was good. The location is perfect if you are okay with being on the mainland. As we were visiting Naoshima, the location could have been better, but we had no choice as all hotels on the island were packed, and this location was then ideal.

Very good breakfast with Japanese and Western selections. Small but very well designed room, it served our purposes perfectly. We loved the open air bath on the top floor . A wonderful surprise was the ice cream and ramen service in the evening. Lots of restaurants nearby. And very close to the station. The staff were happy to send our luggage ahead to our next destination!

The hôtel is very well situated between the beach and the artworks. It's very calm you can sleep with the sound of the wave and wake up just in front of the beach. I recommend going in April before golden week it's not too crowded and the weather is really nice. Also the bus can pick you up just in front of the reception however I recommend taking a bike for the day.
