The new and modern hotel is stand-alone on a small hill in Iwataki. Front side rooms offer views of the Asoumi Sea all the way down to Amanohashidate. Staff was outstandingly helpful and spoke English. My room was spacious and comfortable.

This hotel was self check-in and unmanned/no staff. It's a very large, likely newly renovated room (as of 2025), that is nicely decorated with a modern bathroom and amenities. Everything was clean and new. Room was larger than expected for the price (compared to the more dense cities). 10 min walk from the train station. Included free wifi. (We also had our own personal pocket wifi). We picked this place as a stop overnight for our Amanohashidate trip the next morning because it's close and convenient.
