I found this homestay looking for a nice place near Mount Fuji at a cheap price, where I could admire the mountain and go on excursions in the surrounding area. I found everything here:) Both the place and the family that runs it are very nice. When you arrive at the station the hostess can pick you up in her car for a very affordable price. It is a very simple guest house with no frills, but it offers everything that the traveler needs, at a very reasonable price. Keep in mind that they also offer one free meal a day, whether lunch or dinner. In this sense, it surprised me. pleasantly, because I told them that I was vegetarian and they made an effort to cook something different and delicious every day, I’m very grateful for that. The accommodation itself has a restaurant with exquisite and carefully prepared dishes. The majestic Fuji is right above, you can see it when you leave the accommodation and walk a few steps, you can take beautiful photos. 20 meters from the rooms there is a very beautiful small waterfall and a stream over which the path runs to Take the bus to visit the town of Fujinomiya, it is located about 15 minutes walk along a beautiful path that runs through a forest and areas of more rural Japan. The bus will leave you in Fujinomiya in about 20 minutes, there you will find the Mount Fuji World Heritage Center, a modern facility where you will learn everything about Mount Fuji. Right next door are some food stalls where they offer the famous Fujinomiya Yakisoba and two steps away is the Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine. There is another beautiful excursion to visit Shiraito Falls. there are much more things to do, for example visit some of the Onsen in the area, just ask to your hostess. The accommodation has only been on Booking.com for a very short time, previously they only hosted local people, so they will appreciate your advice to improve the service and its facilities. In short, a great base for visiting Fuji and its surroundings.

A really good price for what you get. The onsen was small but cozy. The hotel staff was super responsive and helpful. We stayed in several hotels during our trip to Japan (some very expensive), but this one, which was the cheapest, was the BEST.
