Convenient location for reaching the city centre and the main areas. The house, after some solved issues, became a very pleasant place to stay. The staff is very reactive and answers very rapidly to any message sent. They were almost always compliant with our needs. All in all it was ok, though a bit expensive for what it offers.

The owner is extremely nice and helpful. He knows a lot about the area, all the hidden gems and whatnot. Room is flawless. Private chef was very nice. Location isn't bad, especially if you're flying into Shimojishima Airport. I'll be back.

My biggest fear was that I would be judged in terms of belonging there, as I have never been to such an exclusive place. In reality, the stay felt like spending time at a friend's place. The staff was very friendly and it was easy to get in touch. During trips it felt like hanging out, and when great things happened (like spotting a sea turtle), genuine excitement was shared. I'd like to express my heartfelt thanks to Moka, Haruka, Taimur, Yui, and everyone else that made this unique experience possible. I look forward to sharing some time with you again.

the staff went out of their way to make my short single person non Japanese speaker stay special. they very well used Google translate to make sure I understood everything. I felt welcome. the hotel had everything you might need like bike hire (but you need to be a good cyclist). to rent a car make sure you get an international driving license. I loved this little hotel even if slightly out of the way it let me experience the island
