An amazing location with amazing views. There is a games room where you can relax from a day of exploring the Mt Fuji area!! The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. A special thank you to the woman that looked after the games room as she was great as a conversation partner and told me about many things to see in the area!!

The house was spotlessly clean and the location was simply perfect. We stayed in a traditional Japanese style room with futon bedding, which was both comfortable and cozy it gave us the feeling of experiencing Japan like the locals do. The host was incredibly attentive throughout our stay, always making sure we had everything we needed. He even went out of his way to pick us up from Shin-Fuji Station and kindly drove us back when we checked out. Although the house has an amazing view of Mount Fuji, unfortunately the mountain was hidden by clouds during our visit. Still, the setting was so peaceful and beautiful that we didn’t feel we missed out. We rented bicycles and cycled to the Shiraito Falls, which was absolutely breathtaking. If you enjoy nature and want to spend some quiet time away from the crowds, I highly recommend renting a bike and exploring the area it was one of the highlights of our trip.
