The property is exceptionally beautiful with a panorama view of the Osaka Bay delta plain... It is only about 30 minutes from downtown Osaka, and yet totally surrounded by woods and especially Japanese maple, for which this area is famous. The hotel is 70's chic minimalist Japanese architecture. It has a fireplace in the lobby, and an authentic Japanese rustic feel. There is nothing like this location and architecture and the building designed for optimal viewing of the valley below anywhere else in the Kansai area. If you like authentic Japanese inn's, this is it. The food was delicious authentic seasonal Japanese food. I appreciated that the chef/hotel accommodated my requests for foods that I was unable to eat.

The property is clean and convenient if you have work or need to be in the Minoo area. A 7-11 just opened up 1 min. away so it makes it event better! There is cable TV, board games to play, and 2 bathrooms!

Nice rooms, price and location. After our first night we rebooked for our last night as well. The hotel was very well located, clean, also it just had a fun atmosphere with a record player in the communal space and a communal kitchen area that was always exceptionallly clean. We also enjoyed freshly cleaned clothes since there is a washer/dryer in a closet in the room that worked very well and was included in the price. I especially liked the way the room was subdivided which helpe when you have jet lag and need a separate area to go and not wake up your partner.
