Genuinely the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life. Great view that looks out to Fuji, amazing food that is traditional and made with fresh produce. It’s everything you can want in a hotel and our only regret is not staying more nights here. The staff here is just beyond amazing. They went above and beyond for us, even organised a cake for my birthday. We even got to see the first snow of the season here.

The private onsen exceeded all our expectations and we enjoyed it more than once during our stay. Our room had a beautiful view of Mount Fuji and the room facilities were great too. The Japanese breakfast was also fantastic.

Imagine waking up with a full view of Mt Fuji! This is exactly what you get here. Fantastic place, super spacious, nice details and really private. You will need a car to get there. We arrived after dark and the place had all the lights on, so it was easy to get in. It would have been nice if the hot water had been turned on already, as it was a little complicated as a non-Japanese speaker to work it out - but we got there with help from Google.

Fantastic family owned house (but the whole house is yours, they don’t live there), we loved everything about it. Especially Fuji view!! Oshino Hakkai is a very cute little town and this house is in the middle of it, next to one of the sacred ponds (with Fuji mirror). The house is spotless clean and so spacious and traditional and just perfect. We are a family of 4 with 2 young adult kids, they both had their own bedroom with futon beds upstairs and we slept downstairs in the 2 beds. The owners are very willing to help you with everything you need, including pick up from and drop off at the train station. There is a Lawson supermarket at 6 minutes walk (a nice walk!). We felt so much at home and the family owners are the best hosts.

Onsen, drinking water direct from d mountain common area including facilities provided by the host. For those who love d nature this is d best place to stay. Most importantly the kindness of the host. Helped us with our groceries shopping during our stay and it's a rainy day during our check out and he sent us to d Station. Really appreciate it.

The villa was very stylish and comfortable, equipped with everything you needed. The surrounding area was quiet. We were very lucky to view Mt. Fuji through the windows. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We certainly recommend this lovely place for those who want spend some day around Mt. Fuji.
