An Unexpected Gem in Saga: My Stay at HOTEL fah I discovered this hidden gem in Saga City during a business trip that brought me from Incheon. While the city offers numerous accommodation options, I specifically needed a spacious room for my extended stay. HOTEL fah surprised me in the most delightful ways. The hotel's proximity to the station is its first major advantage, though initially, I had some trouble locating it due to Google Maps' somewhat unclear directions. The convenience of having a well-stocked supermarket at the station proved invaluable during my stay. The room itself exceeded my expectations. Being a newly opened establishment, everything was pristine and new. I particularly appreciated their choice of MUJI products throughout the room, which added a touch of minimalist elegance. The in-room microwave was a practical addition that I used frequently. The attention to cleanliness was impressive – the housekeeping team maintained impeccable standards throughout my stay. What makes this property unique is the innovative combination of a barbershop and café on the ground floor, creating a lively atmosphere from morning till night. This vibrant setup contributed to the hotel's welcoming ambiance. When I needed to extend my stay, the staff was remarkably accommodating and helpful in arranging the additional night. The peaceful environment and comfortable setting made it an ideal place for productivity – I managed to complete a significant amount of work during my stay. The blend of convenience, comfort, and professional service makes HOTEL fah a standout choice in Saga City. Special thanks to HOTEL fah for providing such a comfortable home away from home. The room is very comfortable and has all the facilities one needs. It is brightly lit and I have no problem doing my readings on my bed. The bathroom is a nice surprise with a suitably sized bathtub and a stool which makes one feel like in a private onsen. The projector is another great surprise. Its projection on the wall is sharp and bright. The beds and the pillows are perfect and we have a good sleep. The microwave oven enables us to reheat food for breakfast. Everything is so nice for this price!

Only 10 minutes away from the train station, the room was so comfortable and I even had the surprise to discover a massage seat in my room! I stayed only one night but would 100% recommend and come again !

We did not book the hotel with meal but there are 2 diners at the lobby floor. Highly recommend the Japanese restaurant and if possible, book the course set in advance. The food is beyond perfection and the price is reasonable. We booked the family room and it is by far the biggest hotel room we stayed in Japan. Bath hall is also impressively huge. People from the town would come here to take a bath and meal. very nice experience.

I'd strongly recommend taking the time to ensure that the accommodation you're booking is close enough to any specific areas you wish to visit. Saga itself, is simply a township without too many attractions other than a museum, a castle and a couple of short, pretty walks. If you want to see something further afield, such as Arita or Imari (located in the Saga region), be prepared for quite a bit of travel. Even places to stay near these areas are several kilometers away.

We walked to the old part of Saga City and discovered the historic Nagasaki Highway or Sugar Road filled with special shops that families have run for generations, the cultural museum and tours of historic homes! There are also new businesses created by younger entrepreneurs so there’s a youthful feeling as well.

Check in had a little hiccup where I couldn't reach the person over the desk phone. But it was quickly resolved. The location is good, beside saga station which is so convenient. The room is relatively larger by japan standard and is comfortable. Bathroom amenities and coffee packets available at ground floor.

I had a comfortable overnight stay at Saga City Hotel. The location is excellent—convenient and easy to get around—and the buffet breakfast was a nice touch that added value to the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall cleanliness and comfort levels were fine for a short stay.

Thr size of the room was great! The room was bug enough for two people and very cleaned. Also, the keyless entry of the hotel and room were nice so I didn’t have to carry the key all time.
