This is a great hotel in the perfect location. It is right in between the train station and the bus station, so getting around town and to local attractions could not have been any easier. There is also a wonderful grocery store and drug store only steps away the staff was as friendly and helpful as they could be. I didn't spend a lot of time in my room, but every amenity I needed was provided. The room had a refrigerator and hot water kettle. The lobby has an ice machine, water, coffee 24 hours and terrific vending machines. Do not skip breakfast! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

That staff there was amazing in accommodating to my family and my needs all throughout the three weeks we were there. I never have been to a hotel where the staff has felt like family to me and that made a very positive difference in our stay there. Never worried about not having enough towels in the bathroom or not having water in the morning. For long stays definitely recommend this place.

The breakfast buffet was superb and had probably 20-30 items to choose from plus eggs made to order and the Sasebo special lemon steak. The rooms are small but tidy, clean, and efficient. I travel to Sasebo frequently for work and plan to stay at Sunwest each time.
